Barron Trump stepped out alongside his mother, first lady Melania Trump, at the White House Monday afternoon as she greeted the official White House Christmas tree.
The 11-year-old, President Trump's youngest son, hasn't been spotted much since moving to Washington, though President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama often enlisted the help of daughters Sasha and Malia around the holidays.
Most famously, the two Obama daughters often stood alongside their father as he pardoned a turkey every Thanksgiving week.
Barron Trump may be put in the same position, as the turkeys have arrived in Washington and a lucky one will be pardoned by President Trump tomorrow, the first time the Republican has participated in the event.
Melania Trump stepped onto the North Portico, sporting slacks, heeled boots, a red turtleneck sweater and had a plaid trench coat draped over her shoulders, a style the first lady loves to wear.
A dressed-up Barron was wearing a white button down shirt and a jacket and slacks with boots.
The two Trumps greeted the horse-drawn carriage and spent about a minute surveying the tree before going to meet and take pictures with the Chapman family.

It will be fun to watch his growth rate as they receive the White House tree over the next few years. He certainly seems to know how to comport himself in these official affairs.
Look at her boots... they have 5 or 6 inch heels on them.

I was struck by how tall Barron was in the photo I saw yesterday.
No one rocks plaid like Melania.
It is difficult to look great in plaid, in my opinion.
She absolutely looks stunning in every photo.
Actually, no. Lifting weights before around age 16 can damage the growth plates in bones, which are still growing. Best to just stay active. Play a variety of sports. Do some pushups.
No way he towers over her. Looks like he is taller though.

Running, swimming, calisthenics and some climbing are all he needs at this point.
Running and swimming are both excellent muscle building activities for youngsters that don’t harm a growing body.
