I didn’t think there was a statute of limitation on rape either. So what’s the holdup? Arrest the bastard. I can’t even look at the rapist without getting angry. Same thing with Worthlessburger on the Steelers . . . how do they get to walk away from these attacks and suffer no consequences? I don’t get it other than that we have a royal class out there that can do whatever they want.

I thought it was just sex and a personal matter.

Didnt read the thing but it looks to me like the libs are using this narrative to start the rant about ‘so should Trump”(resign) because his past is no dif than Bills actions.

It’s easy to say when it can’t happen. If the leftists had said this twenty years ago it would have meant something. Now, it’s just for show.

we all might have made a collective cultural and political decision that a person caught leveraging power over women in inappropriate ways ought to be fired.
If one needs others to set one's morals in this case, ya ain't got any.

The nose is tightening around Trump, make no mistake about it. If they are going to throw Franken, Hillary & Bubba under the bus then the target must be really big. And what does it really cost them. Bubba served a full 2 terms. They’ll rehabilitate him later.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda.

This is not a round of golf, you know. When the game is finished, the different strategies for playing off each hole may be discussed endlessly, but that does not change the final score.

However, political actions do not end. Each builds upon all that has transpired before, with sometimes unknown, unintended or just plain catastrophic effect. An ever-shifting landscape, and many times, with no direction possible but to keep on going.

So Slick “shoulda” resigned, and frankly, that may have been the best possible outcome, even though Al Gore would almost certainly have been elected on his own as the incumbent in 2000, and George W. Bush (or whoever earned the title of “designated loser” that year) would have been an asterisk in the history books. With the Clinton Team reduced to insignificance, and a compliant President Gore in the White House, George Soros would have had a much more free hand to “reshape” America and its relation to the rest of the world, so an obscure state Senator from Illinois would never have risen very far.

But all that is purely speculative.

“I didn’t think there was a statute of limitation on rape”

I think it depends on the state. Posters here have said there is a Statute in CA, but not in NY. Not sure about DC or other places.

The more they go after Trump, the further they will leave their own destruction on the path along the way. That’s the way things seem to be unfolding for them these days.

Agreed. I also think this is a well thought out strategy to go after Trump for sexual misconduct accusations during the campaign. “We can’t make the same mistake again, he must be impeached” Or it would be strong ammunition against his run in 2020.

This is so obvious as it is the preemptive strike to demand Trumps resignation. First, take the high road with the Clinton dilemma. Then they will force Franken out and Moore if elected. We will then hear, how can Donald Trump continue to lead when Senators have been forced to resign for the same thing, sexual assault. What do they lose? Clinton is nothing, Franken will be replaced by, if possible, a more radical liberal from Minnesota and they will gain a seat in Alabama. It’s a win win for the dems.

This is really to do in Roy Moore, and nothing more. You see there are no real consequences that Clinton would face by them trashing him now. In fact, they even downgrade it in this article because they claim that it is not the most egregious case of work[place sexual harassment. In other words, it was bad but not really that bad. Now Roy Moore, that is another matter entirely and he should be buried if not burned at the stake.

The Fake News Media is pretending to be consistent so that they can target Trump.

“I love the way all the progressives are throwing Bill under the bus, now that Hillary is of no use to them.”

Exactly right.

They are pushing this now in a futile attempt to get Moore to resign.

They are afraid of him.
