Strippers in New York have claimed a new wave of scantily clad bartenders are stealing their tips from under them. The dancers are complaining that the bar staff, who call themselves 'startenders', dress as raunchily as they do and dance just as provocatively for cash-throwing customers. They say the only differences are that they are behind the bar and not on stage, and unlike them, they do not have to pay the house to work there.

Nah, that would be too common-sensical.
Reminds me of the burger flippers who want $15 per hour. You want $15 per hour? Go get trained and become worth that much to an employer. But, no, they’d rather protest so they can be stuck in a menial job forever instead of moving up and out of it into something better.

According to the article, the strippers are not actually going “on strike,” because then they wouldn’t be paid. They’re just complaining on Facebook.

I was in Manhattan the other day and,as usual,saw fleets of yellow cabs running uptown,downtown and crosstown.Lots of those cabs feature roof ads for “gentlemen’s clubs”.Whenever I see those I wonder...”how many of the guys who go to joints like that can be called gentlemen rather than losers?”
