Lasorda co-hosted the Baseball Bunch....a kid’s club/show....the series was a 30-minute baseball-themed program airing on Saturday mornings, which featured a combination of comedy sketches and Major League guest-stars, intended to provide instructional tips to Little League aged children.

Ick. What a sicko Lasorda was. However, I’m leaning toward the guy Corey is speaking about is still alive.
Noticed the Baseball Bunch had a kid by the name of John Podesta. Didn’t find any info on him but wondered if he is related to the D.C. Podestas.
If he was in it for the money, he would have done this a long time ago - you should really read and watch the interviews with him before speculating.
Collecting $200k to make a movie, he will probably loose money on it.
