World War II “Tuskegee Airman” P51 Red Tail Mustangs providing “fighter” flight cover for B17s bombing France, Germany, etc. I can tell you tons of them”White” boys on them 1O man per bomber crews were thanking God for the “Red Tail” Black American fighter pilots. Until the “Red Tails” showed up B17 crews were getting slaughtered by the Luftwaffe. Them Black boy pilots kicked ass..period and saved tons of bomber crew lives, thank God!!!
Also...large numbers of Black American volunteers with Andrew Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans during the “War of 1812” Jackson & his boys kicked the British butts!!!

Grayfox, thanks for these stories. I’m going to look them up and read about them. I had a 3rd cousin or something who was on those bombers over Germany. Sounds like the Red Tails saved his hide.
You should also research the entire Vietnam war for interaction between American Black & White soldiers and Marines. We still had the military draft, so young men of drafting age were all thrown together.
These kids did nothing wrong, were there to protect their country, but, were treated by a good number of the American people as dogs to be slaughtered, mostly by hateful Democrats, Communists, Socialists, College Professors that hated America then & now.
But, these Black & White “kids” fought and died for America, took care of themselves as bands of brothers in arms and the color of one’s skin went right out the window as the Viet Cong bullets flew by. Yes...there was racism on both sides, but these kids learned to live together as one, protecting and loving each other and most of them did not give a damn relative the color of one’s skin. amazing stories and history which most Americans know nothing about. SAD...our nation has lost it’s soul....thanks to Barack Hussein Obama and his crony Democrat Party, low life.
Very true statement. All the blood I remember seeing was the same color regardless the soldiers race. The face of the medic working under direct enemy fire to keep me alive, was black. I didn't care what race he was.
It’s true. I was in the Navy for nine years. And aboard ship you had all sorts of guys. Actually it’s where I learned to interact with all sort of people. This was 1974 to 1983.
While there were very few Asians in the Navy at that time, I was stationed in the Pacific and got a big education (for free) on Asia — lived in Japan where I met my wife. It gives you a multi-cultural perspective of the world that most people never get.
Of course, in terms of work knowledge or learning how to market yourself or build a product, I’m sure I fell behind my peers. But the education helped me in ways I’m probably not aware of.
