Yeah, I was amazed at how Gaffe had completely rid himself of the accent he had in the original. And his English greatly improved!

Speaking of portraying a future world it's funny to re-watch Blade Runner and see all the product placements for companies that have since disappeared. Panam, Atari and all the others apparently fought hard to be in that film because they wanted audiences to associate those companies with the future. Now all gone. Apparently a lot of companies were reluctant to have their names associated with the current film for just that reason.

Funny thing is, both of the companies you named re-appear in Blade Runner 2049.

Unbelievable. 90% or so of that list are remakes or spin-offs.

NOT ONE ORIGINAL IDEA.

Johnny Quest. One I would like to see but Vegas odds say it’s gonna be a garbage.

Correction to #43...not 90%, it’s 100%. NOT ONE ORIGINAL IDEA.

Remaking Pinocchio? Snow White? Mary Poppins? Good grief.

The ships could have been in orbit over earth or another planet in our system where they were clustered around the “shoulder of Orion.”

A “c-beam” I always imagined to be some sort of beam-of-light weapon, like a laser or particle beam or something. “c” is used to denote the speed of light in Einstein’s famous equation: E=mc^2.
