Swedish man arrested for kidnapping 12-year-old West Virginia girl

BLUEFIELD, W. Va. (WVNS) – A man from Sweden is in jail after deputies said he kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl from Bluefield.
Simon Apell, 19-years-old, is charged with kidnapping, intent to seduce a minor, soliciting a minor via computer and sexual assault third degree.
Mercer County Deputies said Apell has no ties to the United States other than flying in to Charlotte, North Carolina and then driving to Bluefield to specifically meet the young girl.

I think the young Monsieur Apell is going to quickly find that unlike most of the EU where he would have gotten a slap on the wrist and perhaps a few days stay at the local open air Chateau that double as a prison, West Virginia is going to be very rude wake up call. West Virginia juries aren't very fond on pedophiles, nor are they fond of “outsiders” who come in just to break the law. On the other hand Bubba in Cell Block 2 will love that babyface and the soft European skin....
