Dana White is FURIOUS with Jason Aldean -- telling TMZ Sports the country singer's team lied to him about why he couldn't perform in front of Vegas shooting survivors and 1st responders at UFC 216.
White says he had reached out to Aldean's camp to sing the national anthem at UFC 216 in Vegas on Saturday night ... an event in which 15 survivors and hundreds of 1st responders were in the crowd.
White says Aldean's people turned down the offer -- saying he was shaken up from the shooting and might never perform live again.

He was getting savaged online last week for the quickness at which he valiantly fled the stage during the shooting. He'll never live that down. Now sure what he was supposed to do though.

None of us here knows how we would feel, were it us performing instead, at least I do not.
It may take him quite a while to deal with that many reminders of how close he came to dying. Of course, it would have been the ‘right, nice and noble’ thing to do, but trauma doesn’t always follow the expectations of your base.

It’s not something most people would ever be prepared for.

Especially since the people in the audience were covering each other, attending the wounded, and escorting each other out.
FTR...I am an entertainer, and have never been even close to such a situation, so I really can’t sit in judgement.

He probably got paid for SNL, but since the UFC 216 event was for survivors, it would have been a benefit performance, and no pay day. If this is true, he's been shown to be a self-serving POS.
But they could have least told White the real reason he couldn't be there, not some hogwash story that he might not be able to ever appear in public again.
Because he wants to embrace the suck for fame and profit...and those he makes league with will cut him down as soon as he steps out of line.

If this is true, that he turned down this event for a Surprise Get Cold Open for the holier than thou leftists at SNL, then I will remove him from my playlists.
For real, that was a career poor decision.
