Yep.
It’s not a community college. It’s an art school that confers college degrees. I know people who have attended. The type rednecks like me refer to as “artistes”. The red, green and purple hair. The pierced facial and other body parts. The tattoos. The enlarged anuses (males). The early beginnings of back boobs (females). Kids who would have been much better off studying computer science or engineering. A few alums have succeeded in the art world although I can’t name one off the bat. This woman looks to have some Arab stock in her and what she teaches is undoubtedly on the electives side of the curriculum.
In California real estate market, if renting to a person(s) and you have a no pet restriction and they say they have a service animal, stop right there. Don’t ask for papers, doctor’s letter etc. They will sue you and you will lose.
According to her lawyers, she never asked for the dogs to be removed and never claimed to have a life-threatening allergy.
Well, wench...next time rent a donkey. Or better yet, go back to your 3rd world paradise.
And the goat jumpers.
That particular Venn Diagram is a perfect circle.
They say that like it's a bad thing.
I never knew what that was called before.
Another enlightening day on FR.
How did the story of ‘allergies’ come about? Witnesses?
——Why do Muslims have such a hard time getting along with everyone else in the world.——
They have superiority complex...
Islam is the latest greatest faith...all other religion should be submissive to them..
The bureaucratic hole in this is that they now allow people to bring their pet on the flight because the owner proclaims it a “service animal” and may very well even have a certificate or letter from a physician verifying this, even though it is simply a pet.
I have no problems with service animals at all, 100% in support, even Vets who have a trained animal that is supposed to help their PTSD symptoms.
I am 100% opposed to people who buy a vest for their pet that states it is a service animal and bring it into restaurants, etc. on that basis, or even get a letter from their physician granting the animal that status.
They should close that loophole and do it now. They should make physicians and psychiatrists and other health care providers accountable for doing this, and enable places to refuse service of all kinds on this basis.
I detest this mindset. People should be ashamed of themselves for even doing this. I love my pet too, but no way I would ever, in a million years exploit this.
I used to think Islam would never take over here because we love our dogs too much. But when I saw photos of feminists in Europe holding signs saying “Better raped than racist,” I changed my mind. How long before we see signs saying, “Better to get rid of Fido than be racist”? “Better to give up bacon than be racist”? “Better to wear the burka than be racist”? Nothing would surprise me anymore.
I’m taking both of those images...
See my response above at #51. I think this whole “service animal” thing is disgusting as well, and out of control.
LOL, who are you going to believe, a militant muslim woman of color and her blood-sucking lawyers, or the airline and other passengers?
She should have been on the no-fly list anyway.
Actually, I wonder what the fuss is about service animals? Though it has been quite a few years, I used to take my dog with me on flights. It was in a carrier under the seat in front of me and that seemed to be pretty standard practice as far as the airlines were concerned.
Did the rules change?
If they allow that (the animal is small enough to fit in a carrier under the seat) I don’t have a problem with that as it doesn’t sound like you weren’t characterizing it as a service animal.
Falsely characterizing it as a “service animal” is something I have an issue with.
I think you have always been able to take an animal (dog or cat, at least) on a plane in a carrier if it was small enough to do that. You couldn’t take your german shepherd or lab, as far as I know.
No I wasn’t claiming it as a service animal but if that isn’t necessary I wonder why people are. Too big to fit under the seat?
