.
Sounds like your spirits were pleased that you hung a dead “Jesus” over your door. They like to look at him dead.

“...I will never forget it.”

Same here, it was quite horrible.

We have a new house in town that was built where a couple years earlier was the worst fire the town had...four small kids and their grandmother died inside. It’s living room is right about where they were all found huddled together. Wonder sometimes if the new owner has had anything like that, or if they even know...

Not a ghost ... the spirit of my late fiancé ... met me at the gate to tell me that it was not my time and I needed to go back ... I had flat lined from H1N1 and double pneumonia 3 days after she had past ... grief affects the pulmonary. Trust me I didn’t want to come back

Yep, came from the hallway, into the living-room, then out the picture window. Only had time to see a foot(with sandal)hit next to me.

Brother saw it also(no one else in the room), we were just kids.

...heh, decades later, we both still think it's the source of our curse.

Next time I'll trip the SOB.

Meet it again in the afterlife?

...well...my turn!

There are no ghosts. There is no evidence of any ghost. Ghosts are for very weak minded who have problems with stark reality.

Nope. But got smacked in the back by one so hard once it left a distinct, visible red mark of a rather large hand.

I was about 12, riding my bike, passing a ‘creepy’ 1840s era house when I got hit hit hard in my back. Pushed my face into the handle bars and knocked the wind out of me. I lived nearby so I ran into the bathroom, lifted my shirt up, turned and looked in the mirror. There was large, distinct red handprint between my shoulderblades. A very large hand. I’ve been injured several times in that area and have fractured my back there putting me out of the military. So I’d go with malevolent spirit/demon on that.

Maybe three years ago, after coming in from the garden, I heard a dog drinking out of the water bowl and then sighing like it was tired and laid down. Our dogs and cats were not inside at the time. I heard it again a few days later and again no dogs were inside. I think it was my bff husky who had died years before. She was the smarted dog ever and was always at my side.

Hubby swore he’d see a man and a woman ghost in our house. He thought the woman might have been my grandmother who was the previous owner. Hubby said the man’s name was Sam and that’s the name of the original owner. Hubby never knew anything about the original owners since the house passed through my family so it’s curious he’d say it was Sam.

Shortly after my grandmother died, I was about to look through her briefcase and started laughing. My laughter woke hubby and he asked what the heck was going on. I said I’d remembered something that happened with me when I was little while my grandmother’s sister was visiting. I then reached into the briefcase and turned over a face down envelope and saw the sister’s address. I pulled the letter out and... it was from my grandmother writing about the incident. I don’t know why the letter was back in her possession but I know Grandma wanted me to have a nice laugh.

When I was about 11, I saw a small ghost cross a path right in front of me. I wasn’t scared but stood still to watch it. It was a three foot tall blob of mist.

In college, I had a poltergeist.

I thought it was just me. I know no one on that wall. As i approached it the deepest darkest feeling came over me. I could not stop sobbing. I told my ex that i had to leave. I will never ever forget it.

>>Ghosts are for very weak minded who have problems with stark reality.<<
Or for very strong minded who can recognize that which is subtle and nuanced.

Seen plenty of spirits, especially at Indian pow-wows in the northern US. You find them out of the corner of your eye, unless they jump on your chest.

I’ve woken up in middle of night physically feeling pressed into the bed and unable to move like if some huge person was on top of me and I couldnt move my body or limbs under the weight of the person and it was uncomfortable and scary, because I was the only one in the house. I used to wonder if it was some sort of evil spirit.

I don’t believe in ghosts but I had a strange experience once. My father’s second wife died (of a long illness) at his home. Shortly afterward my siblings and I came to his house to take him out to dinner. I looked in the refrigerator and remarked that the bag of carrots looked stale, and asked if I should throw them out. He told me to take them home to the pony. I put them on the kitchen table so I wouldn’t forget.

We went out and locked the door. When we returned there was a book/album open on the middle of the kitchen floor. It absolutely hadn’t been there when we left. I asked my father what it was. He said it was the registry of guests from his late wife’s funeral. I asked where it was normally kept. He said the top drawer of the bureau in the room down the hall. I put it away.

I noticed that the carrots were gone. I looked around, and particularly looked in the refrigerator, but couldn’t find them.

A while later my father asked me to get something for him from the master bedroom—the one in which his late wife had died. (I forget what; it may have been his slippers.) I went into the room, and there were the carrots, lying exactly in the center of the bed.

All that is 100% true. I and my siblings were spooked, but my dad acted as if it were no big deal. Afaik, nothing else strange ever happened there.

No, not a coin. A China cabinet, which was my grandmother’s. If any object said, Grandma, that was it. And twice it was opened, and nobody opened it. And we had just been talking about her. A light that never worked turned on at the moment my mom’s brother died. A tree in our back yard fell when my own brother died, in the opposite way it was leaning. Twice my car battery bolts were loosened, and only my brother would use my car to say hello. Stuff like that.

I have had verbal contact from what I believe to be an evil entity within a possessed person. Not related to this, I believe Ouiga boards are telephones to hell and won’t allow them in my home.

very interesting Ferris. I believe too many people are deceived by the devil through these ‘sightings’. Many so want to see their family members again as well, so they believe when it happens. This gives the devil a stronger and stronger foothold into your life.

Yes. Years ago one summer night we were at friends playing cards very late. We had a twenty minute ride on country roads and were about three miles from home when we saw a funnel like thing on the side of the road. It was off the ground several feet, about ten feet high. It was like lighted sort of like an effervescent light inside, twinkling and spinning. We both said what is that as we passed it. I said let’s go back and my husband said no way. The next morning we read a young local teenager had an accident earlier that night at that curve and died. I so wanted to contact his parents as time went on but figured they would think we were nuts.
