Wrong news babe.
They are already backing off.

According to Oliver, Trumps comments about national anthem protesters were so egregious they got under the skin of so many people. The messenger refuses to die!

It’s amazing what offends them and what doesn’t. Crapping on the national anthem and the flag. OK. Calling people who do it “sons of bitches” WHOA! Not OK! How many black people have been killed by cops under questionable circumstances? I couldn’t even count it on one hand, yet we’ve had thousands upon thousands of black killed through the years in gang shootings, little kids killed, and not ONE word from any of these SC*MBAGS which is what I prefer to call them.

Yep. It’s egregious to expect people to respect the Pledge of Allegiance and the Flag.

If it wasn’t for the protests, I wouldn’t have known the NFL season began. Unintended consequences. Maybe people who are used to watching football on TV Thanksgiving will appreciate the holiday more so this year.

LOLOLOL......
Trumps comments ‘egregious??? Does Pam know what fans in the grandstands call the players during games? What about the stuff the players call each other during the game??
And Trump’s comments are egregious. (eyes rolling)

Trump’s words expressed what most of us feel.
He smoked out the skunks, and the woodpile stinks. Let it burn.

I’ve got a great idea for the idiot players who want to show unity. Stand up and put your hand over your heart whenever you hear the National Anthem being played. That’s the best way we show unity in this country!
