Jerry Lewis certainly got in the last laugh when it came to his strained relationship with his children.
According to his Last Will and Testament, provided to PEOPLE by The Blast, the funnyman emphatically cut out all six children he had with his first wife Patti Palmer — meaning they will [inherit] nothing.

Jerry did not attend the wedding. I suspect he hasn’t had a relationship with them at all.
Lewis wasn’t part of the Rat Pack.
He and Dean fell out before the Rat Pack and he never hung out with them.

Lewis cheated on his wife for decades and neglected his sons. His youngest son was 16 when he wed the second wife, who was having an affair for years with Lewis.
I don’t think he needed his wife’s help in turning his son’s against him. He did it on his own.
OTOH, I seem to recall reading good things about Dean Martin here on FR.
Bing Crosby did not leave a dime to his sons from his first marriage. They inherited their mother’s estate. Two of the sons from the first marriage committed suicide. One of them put a bullet in his head after he collected his last check.
Maybe Jerry Lewis had a good reason to leave his older children out of the will. A lot of those brats from Beverly Hills and Brentwood are no damn good.

Many lawyers will recommend not doing this as it leaves it open to challenge. Since he was very specific in calling them out individually, it might be less susceptible to challenge.
Jerry Lewis had a reputation of just being mean. In the book he wrote after Dean Martin died, he blamed their split completely on Martin. He also admitted that he routinely cheated on his wife, and considered it acceptable and normal for men who were away from home a lot. I remember reading a funny book years ago, about airline stewardesses. It was called Coffee, Tea or Me?, I think. The stewardesses who wrote it specifically called out Lewis as one of the most unpleasant celebrities they dealt with.
