The stories get more entertaining by the day.

Nuclear electromagnetic pulse

Effects
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_electromagnetic_pulse#Effects

Shorter waves are more line-of-sight and tend to be stopped more quickly by the atmosphere and debris in the atmosphere. Longer waves travel further and would be more dangerous to long conductive lines (e.g., power grid lines). Appliances that are plugged in to power or network cables are far more at risk than unplugged appliances.

But one can put extra electronic appliances and parts wrapped in non-conducting material in a steel container with a tight steel lid or door. Tin foil could also work, if appliances or parts are first wrapped in non-conductive material.

I meant pre-electronic age. In 1962 there were very few and primitive electronic devices.

In 1962 there were many electronic devices and many were sophisticated for the day. 1962 was only 55 years ago.

The North Koreans are brutal and devious.

Its good to have Donald Trump in the White House to counter their treachery.

I’m with you.

Maybe we’ll use some weapons that are never talked about by the military.
