Don’t have that channel. I’ve seen both. Not crazy about “Cookie”, but “Varrick” is good. Matthau was exceptionally good in the original “The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3.”

The final scene was perfection. Marty Balsam sneezes, giving away his role in the caper. Matthau, without saying a word, shoots a "gotcha !" look.

Two different genres. “Varrick” is great. “Cookie”, I like.
“1,2,3”: The remakes are puke compared to the original.
