From Zeke To Play Week 1 Against Giants, But Six-Game Suspension Upheld

Me thinks this seals the deal... that the suit in federal Court will get Zek free for the season and will finally find the NFL screwed the pooch on making sure they found him guilty.

However, to tell the truth... when I first saw Zek at the NFL Draft Day Event--

...with his 'bare midriff motif'... I thought "This guy's bubble isn't plumb."

And with reports of him being the King of the Dallas Party Scene did not make me feel better--

Granted, the sumbitch can run with the best of them and I did cheer when he ran and ran and ran to help my Boys to a 13-3 record. But as to his quality of character and whether he smacked around 'semi-crazy, not reliable' Tiffany Thompson, I really do not know if he did or did not.

Yet the police and prosecutorial authorities did not find enough evidence to charge him. That should be where the buck stops unless dead set evidence comes to light and as far as what I saw the NFL compile, there is no evidentiary "there" there.

So, I will still cheer Zek zooming through the Jersey Jints defense but... in the back of my mind, there is room for Zek to be from the dark side until his future behavior prove that false.

Was 1 and 1 with my picks for them Teaspippers and my Aggies last weekend... so here are my picks for this weekend's college games--

The Shorthorns should be shamed into getting a win over the San José State Spartans--

Yet I will be dreaming... the University that serves the Peoples Socialist/Communist Republic of Austin stumbles again.

Now, after my Aggies fall from grace... they should handily beat the Nicholls State Colonels from the Southland Conference.

If they don't-- Well... they better not!

Two of my alma maters meet this weekend, The Mean Green of North Texas plays at Southern Methodist Saturday night and I think even though both won blowout last weekend, it will be the Ponies that win in the end.

And to repeat, I'll calling for a Thursday Nite Upset... by my old Dallas Texans over big's Pattycakes.

That would be... just dandy!
