exits at louetta and cypresswood are closed for 249 but you can get out of town on 249... feeder roads on 99 are all flooded. They are evacuating the st lukes hospital on 249 between cypresswood and louetta right now...

Yes, how can you leave when the roads are flooded and where to go? We have friends in Houston and Galveston and they are in the same boat as we are in. I’m not going to a shelter. We are staying put and pray the rain backs off. It was better today. The water receded a lot.
Bummer. Talked with my aunt last night and she is okay and is staying with friends and she mentioned no power.
I’m from near Tomball.
I took 2920 westbound to Waller yesterday. Got on 290 West there. Had no problems on 290 once I was out of Harris County.
Spending a few days in Austin with family. Lost power Sunday night and it may not be on for several days.
