It's not a hoax. ESPN has released an official statement describing their motives. We are through the looking glass on this one.

The Washington Times reported this too so apparently this isn’t a false story.
I hope they don’t have an up and coming young announcer named Stonewall Jackson.

It's a horse. It doesn't even have the same name as Robert E. Lee's horse (the USC horse, Traveler, has one "l" in his name; Lee's horse, Traveller, had two "l"s.)

Lee is one of the most common names in Korea. It’s like smith or something. Every Korean Tom Dick and Harry is named Lee
