The marketers got a hold of baseball and being the slowest of the sports have tried to MTV it into a constant state of frenzy with a lot of jump cutting to the next shiny object. They are marketing to the yutes not the elders.

AA. They're pretty big on destroying the academic reputation of U of M with AA.
That, and I think they took the fictional, yet satirizing "Wizard of Oz" to heart, and given somebody a degree automatically gives them a brain they is economically useful.
And here I thought the reason was the Ancient Egypt had slaves in general, Jewish slaves in particular, and it was all part of tearing down cultures that has had slavery in their pasts.
The culture nazis are not amused by appropriation of “their” culture. How can one “own” culture?
Bunch of whiny brats.
The frat missed a teachable lesson. Yasmeen Afifi should have been invited to the “Nile” party.
“Is this the Delta house?”
Despite the frat saying they have multiple races, she repeatedly calls them white. Also to note how hateful and resentful all her comments are about ‘white people’. I would say that is the very crux of racism - hatred of a group of people based on skin-color/ethnicity.
Actually, this term is only of recent usage and it has the implication of removing the cultural whatever from the original culture. The proper term, in much longer usage is cultural borrowing and has been going on since the birth of humans. When someone sees something about somewhere else which they like, they want to adopt it. I like mosaics and columns. It will not denigrate the Ancient Greeks in any way when I use them in decorating my home.
FWIW, the Ancient Egyptians were closer to Europeans than they were to the modern occupants around the Nile.

Much happier now I guess that is called success.
Have wonderful evening Freepers.
