Authorities discovered human remains behind a house in Aruba, a grisly find that may finally crack the mystery surrounding a young woman’s disappearance 12 years ago.
The remains, discovered following a renewed 18-month probe, are being tested to see if they’re a DNA match with Natalee Holloway, the Alabama teenager who went missing while on a graduation trip in 2005, her father, Dave Holloway, and investigator T.J. Ward revealed on “Today” on Wednesday.

I hope it’s her remains so the family can have some closure. I also hope that Aruba is still suffering a decline in tourism as a result of their failure to put forth a proper investigative effort when the case was still fresh.
I cant believe that story of her being buried there just NOW came out... after all the searching?? seems someone would have talked long before that...

Not convinced it’s her remains, I’ll wait for the DNA.
IF that’s her, the roommate is in big trouble, since he had evidence and kept it to himself all these years.
I think a Go Fund Me to have him snuffed in prison would be wildly successful. Especially if it could be done in some extremely nasty way, perhaps involving the use of one of the ceramic things he now spends his time making. His old man, liar and POS that he is, is already burning in hell. Or more likely, stoking the flames.
I thought this was a mystery already solved, isn’t there a guy doing a life sentence for this?

I have been to the Caribbean and not to NOLA nor Detroit so what you say may be so.
Note: The Caribbean countries that stayed under European Rule tend to be much nicer in terms of laws and amenities. But all of them have beautiful beaches.

That is when I quit watching fox. It was this case and Scott Peterson NON STOP for two years.
Nope, he killed another girl and is doing time for that in Peru.
And, get this; we had a black guy as our president for 8 years.

Why do DNA test take months for stuff like this and if someone was accused of rape or murder and bodily fluids were found DNA would be done like immediately

The difference s fresh DNA opposed to old which may be more difficult to retrieve and runs the risk of being unusable if it is.
