I oppose violence from any side, but I also oppose hiding it or burying it in this forum.
The story is being given wall to wall attention on all the cable channels here in the US right now and is prominent on BBC World News right now.
They all have their agendas and this situation provides the rest of us in forum like FR the opportunity to bring a different perspective to it all, so why try to limit the coverage.
They want to remove a statue of Thomas Jefferson at the UVA.

The statue isn’t on campus. It’s in a public park in the historic downtown area of Charlottesville. The City Council, after months (years?) of inflammatory rhetoric, voted to remove the statue. Recently.
That decision has been put on hold by a federal judge.

It's complete systemic racism in South Africa. Once solidly middle class, educated white people live in squatter camps without hope because they can not find employment because employment must be representative on the 96% NON WHITE population.

What I would love to see is a rally or march with good, solid patriots of many races, marching together, hand in hand, and furthering unity of purpose in America and individual liberty.

The media and the Uniparty polticians have already picked sides supporting the militant Antifa Left that attacked the Alt Right protestors today in Virginia.
I support non violent protests anywhere but particularly in Las Vegas right now in support of the Bunkerville Standoff protestors were prosecuted and persecuted in the courtroom by the Jeff Sessions approved prosecutor and the Harry Reid crony federal judge.
That’s where people should be gathered in the thousands for protest.
If the media wasn’t there feeding this across the nation nobody would care one way or another. Add to the mix politicians who see this as an opportunity to promote themselves.....that is why we’re hearing about this.

These protesters’ leadership/organizers don’t give a crap about historic symbols or Americana or statues one way or another. The issue is never the issue.
The effort is to divide the country and weaken our national identity by forming factions on all kinds of unrelated issues. In this case over old statues. In another case, allegations of police brutality. The possibilities for outrage are endless.
If you want to derail American policy, any sort of disruption will do to destroy the sense of fellowship. It’s a cheap, safe way to wage war and no one goes after the instigators.
Actually it is MSM racism on display.
If blacks riot they consider it normal. If white people do it then we have big news.
