Advocates for Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program took an intersection hostage near the Texas capitol this week which ended in 15 of them being arrested for obstructing a highway and being charged with a Class B misdemeanor.

What’s ironic is now they have a criminal record and wouldn’t qualify for DACA anyway....

At least law enforcement cleared the intersection quickly. In Baltimore during the Freddie Gray “unrest” the mayor implied that shutting down roads, including an interstate, was an expression of free speech.

I think that protests are losing flavor. I can see how the woman’s march was successful. It was planned for months. The protest at the airports was weird. I don’t know how all those people showed up at the exact time of the EO. I don’t like going to the airport voluntarily much less to protest. Did all those people pay for parking which is not cheep? So strange.
