WASHINGTON — With their bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act in tatters, Senate leaders on Tuesday pushed to vote on a different measure that would repeal major parts of President Barack Obama’s health law without a replacement — but that plan appeared also to collapse.

Time for trump to blow it up. Eliminate every single bureaucratic regulation that has been put in place to bring us Obamacare. Go on television and call it DEAD, and KILL IT. Then congress can do whatever they want and Trump doesn’t care either way.

Romney’s platform was that first day in office after winning in 2012, he would sign an exec order EXEMPTING all 50 states, all citizens from Ocare. Obama exempted all kinds of people and companies this way. Trump should just exempt us all. Then make the pubbies repeal it so that it is permanent.

We elected Trump to get it done. He can completely kill this thing, and he should.

I am really disgusted that these people elected to represent, ONLY represent themselves. What a bunch of self serving turds. They are all JOKES of the human race.

McTurtle knew it wouldn't pass before he suggested it.

*By suggesting a certain failure, he could claim that "he tried."

Would this bill have simply repealed Obamacare without replacing it?

Since the whole ObamaCare debacle is unconstitutional, the sates need to simply stop submitting to it.

Turtle has the power to whip the senate members into line and he should. If Murkowski isn’t going to vote for repeal then she needs to lose all the committees she’s on and rethink her position.

This is the time for hardball.

Yes, indeed, plus each of these Senators need to be targeted politically in the most painful way possible. Part of that problem is that the Senate leadership is more on their side and Mitch McConnell is more likely to target Trump. Trump saying that we need to elect more Republicans in 2018 to get out of this mess defies logic. The conservative base is going to turn away from the GOP with disastrous consequences IMO.

Trump has call out the GOP...They went on for 8 years about how they were going to repeal this because that’s what their base wanted
Trump’s is ready to sign it and now that the GOP has the opportunity they’re pulling this crap

Never forget that Murkowski is a Senator because patently false charges were brought against the actual Republican nominee, which were subsequently reversed on appeal.

Couldn’t Trump repeal all the exceptions that were added to the original bill by executive order?

Quite amusing, all of this. Basically, all these nincompoops are arguing over the best way for people like me to pay for other people’s health insurance.

My wife and I are self-employed and we pay for our insurance out of our own pockets. We looked at ACA as an option and realized just how crappy it is. The lies these scoundrels will tell you about how vibrant the California ACA exchange is boggles the mind. OK, so there may be 23 providers but all of their policies suck eggs. No thank you.

So we really don’t care about what this incompetent federal government wants to do in the way of health insurance. Then I guess all we’re waiting for the ax to fall on how much more we’re going to have to pay in taxes to fund our fellow citizens.

Pathetic.

Just now in DC:

Trump: “I’m going to just let Obamacare fail and the dems can own it, not me.”

Works for me!
