YAY!
Dear Rebecca: Actions have consequences. Mess with someone on his Twitter page and you could be shut out. Deal with it. And lose the hyphenated name already.
Twitter allows any twitter account holder to block other twitter accounts from tweeting on the holder’s feeds.
Trump may be POTUS but as a Twitter account holder he is no different than any other Twitter account holder and may not be restricted any differently than any other Twitter account holder.
Trump is not responsible for, nor obligated to be responsible for supporting what someone else finds financially profitable by tweeting on Trump’s Twitter account feeds.
The person suing to gain access to Trump’s Twitter account feeds is an idiot.
So sue him if you have the gonads...oh, wait.
Boo hoo. Create a new Twitter ID to follow the President and make your comments in the old account. Duh.
"Trump Blocked ME on Twitter!"....
...Gone now is MY ability to participate in the timeliest and most robust conversations around law, policy, and politics on Twitterthose around the presidents tweets.
.... Ive been forced out and have no meaningful way to rejoin them.
...It's costing ME...MY career.
....I knew @realDonaldTrump was important to MY career.
....being blocked by the president on Twitter affected ME as a public intellectual.
...Every day Im blocked I lose opportunities to advance MY views and engage others.
.... Ive been forced out and have no meaningful way to rejoin them.
...I make a point pithily and its liked and retweeted by thousands of people.
She’s single and has a hyphenated name? At least she can blame some of her problems on her parents.
I read Trump’s tweets without even having a Twitter account. Apparently this “public intellectual” hasn’t figured this out after several months.
So she's thinking about suing the president. For blocking her on Twitter. But then here's the money shot:
It never occurred to me that Id end up in court.
Never occurred to her that she'd end up in court? She's the victim here? That's what you say if someone drags YOU into court, not if you're the one suing! If you don't want to be in court, then how about DON'T SUE!!! No one is dragging your hyphenated, organic-latte-sipping, Birkenstock-wearing, flat-footed ass into court! You don't have the right to force the president of the United States to view your harassment of him, as much as you really-really-really want it, you thirty-year-old toddler!
I'm not even that big a fan of Trump, but good God these crybaby millenial self-proclaimed "writers" and "public intellectuals" whose mission in life is finding the tiniest damn things over which to criticize him get more insufferable by the day!
I don't see anywhere in there that mentions tweets, re; 2nd and machineguns. Nor does Trump blocking her deprive her of his tweets, as they are resent countless times in seconds. Third, it is a private account and the Congress has not made any laws restricting her nor anyone from accessing the Presidents account. Fourth, the President has not restricted the public at large from accessing it.
But I'm not a liberal whore judge from Hawaii, so what do I know?
Ed
Well there is that
I was just saying
And overly delusional
Public or otherwise you don’t have to announce you are an intellectual unless you ain’t one
Obama raised taxes and the cost of living and it is costing me my retirement.
It must be Its allCNN does
Most gays are self-centered to the extreme....no surprise her article was all about her...and in the cry-baby mode at that!
Yes, but you wouldn’t like her sisters, “Utter Mockery Girl “ and “Public Scorn Girl.”
What a refreshing difference from the Beyonce/Cyrus type performance.
I’m pretty sure that anyone who calls herself an “intellectual” is anything but.
