Flanders is right up Route 206 from Bedminster.

You do see some military aircraft around these parts when President Trump is out at Trump National. They maintain a no-fly zone around the area, and heavy flight restrictions in a larger area over northern New Jersey.

There are 3 squadron of them at Tyndall and around a hundred F-35s at Eglin.

Both are nearby but I never see any. I do sometimes get to see an AC-130 circling.

...yeah I’m figuring that out now. I got a keen ear for military aircraft...he flew right over my place going west...then banked
left giving me a nice profile ...then went north northeast...their loud when that low..

St. Andrews State Park is on the west side of the Panama City Ship Channel. Not only will you see F-22s flying frequent missions that pass over the park, you’ll also see obsolete F-16s flying over that have been stripped down and retrofitted with remote control as drone targets to be shot down by the
F-22s out over the Gulf somewhere.
The F-16 drones have dayglow orange painted wingtips and nosecones.
I once saw a flight of 3 drones flying out to sea in formation followed about a minute later by two F-22s...

I don’t know how you are missing all the F-35s flying around Eglin. Especially over Ft. Walton and Destin.

I live NW of Tyndall and NE of Eglin.

My Father worked at Tyndall from around 1946 to 1956. He then worked nearly 30 years at Eglin. When we owned a farm a few miles SW of DeFuniak, I saw planes from Eglin all the time.

A few days ago I saw a couple of Skytrucks flying in formation over central Jersey. That’s probably only the third time in twenty years I’ve seen military planes here.

I’m kind of proud of myself that I managed to figure out what they were: military formation, big turboprops, paired vertical stabilizers outer edge of tail, scooped out look to them. Ten minutes searching online - voila!

Saw the Blue Angels in practice flying low and fast over the beach once about 3/4 mile off the beach once at Destin behind Pompano Joe’s.

Another time a F16 came over so fast that it took a few seconds for the roar to be heard. He was way on down the beach before he could be heard.

Both times flights were east to west.
It’s pretty heart stirring to see a fully missile armed F-16 heading out south to sea over the Gulf on a training mission.
