Just tried to access Drudge and was interrupted due to my adblocker.

Anyone else ?

Photobucket is doing the same thing to me now as well.

THIS IS HUGH & SERIES

Same here. Bastard — he knows how obtrusive those things are and used to always promise not to let his ads take over his page.

I wonder if he even has anything to do with his site any more.

My ad blocker had to be turned off on Drudge. Then when I went to one of the articles, I had to unblock that site to read the article.

Ad blocker is a regular function of my browser. I am not sure what happens when I turn it off. I am worried that these advertisers are tagging my internet activities using my cookies. I often remove cookies to frustrate those cookie makers.

I’ve gotten malware multiple times going onto Drudge so I have stopped. The fact that you are being blocked might not have anything to do with anything Drudge has done. I get the feeling they are under unrelenting attack.

My thought is the ads are the culprits!

I saw that today as well on my Mac.

I went to the settings for Adguard AdBlocker 2.6.12, and checked the box for “Use an old API instead of the “Content Blocking API” and restarted Safari.

Problem is gone.

Thanks nerdo,

We'll see how it goes. Not really wedded to Drudge, but thanks.

I was just there before coming to this site. I use Adblock plus and ghostery - no problems, ever, except by some of the links that get posted. Try it again?

I rarely go to Drudge, but thought I would check. I use AdBlock Plus, and got through just fine, AND it blocked 13 ads.

Ad blocker plus working fine on Drudge here.
If a web page blocks you because of a blocker you can just open the link in an ‘incognito’ window.

I use ghostery and it is not blocked by anyone and has the same desired results.

I’ve never seen ads on Drudge’s site until recently. I thought my Ad Blocker’s Kung Fu was strong. But not now.
