Velma, my wife of nearly 35 years (53 YOA) has been having seizure-like episodes which are getting worse. Lasting longer and longer and more motor control loss/psychological effects.
Sunday she had an episode that required life-flight transport to a major med center here in MO. Loss of consciousness, facial muscle twitching, unresponsive in general.
No evidence of TIA/stroke on the CT scans/MRIs over the last 6 months, but she now has a facial weakness on the left, slurred speech, extreme lethargy and seems "out of it" about 75% of the time when awake, sleeps ~20 hrs per day. Scheduled for a Video EEG test next week ( all week long) at Mercy Springfield. Low doses of Neurontin and Xanax etc. Doctors pretty much at a loss for why....
Head injuries in the past, recently last December. Diabetes now out of control. Childhood abuse survivor. Tough Army Wife.

Prayers for your wife and entire family. A quick question/thought - have the docs evaluated her for any kind of vector-induced disease process? I’m thinking ticks, spiders, mice, etc.

Author of all Creation and of every hair on our heads,
We don’t know what is causing Velma’s episodes of ill health, but You know.
We lift up Velma for Your saving grace, Father.
First and foremost, may Velma and Manly Warrior be secured in their conviction of Salvation through Christ on the Cross.
Those who have surrendered their lives to You have the assurance that their prayers will be heard.
Heal Velma, we pray, from head to toe. Leave nothing amiss as Your grace and mercy scan her body, mind and spirit.
Bring understanding and inspiration to her medical caregivers, so that her recovery may be assisted by earthly messengers of Truth.
May every word spoken to her lift and encourage her spirit, for the Truth sets us free.
Be with Manly Warrior and guide his every step, word and action in addressing Velma’s recovery.
We pray for Divine health and healing according to Your plan,

Jesus, our Lord and Savior, send your grace and mercy to the bed where Velma lays. Lead her medical staff to the cause of these episodes and point to the cure. Christ, you can restore her to perfect health and this is what we raise up in prayer. Point Manly Warrior and Velma to Your Word for strength in this time of trouble so they may experience Your peace that passes all our human understanding.
