California Restricts State-Funded Travel To 4 More States Over LGBT Laws

California has banned non-essential state-funded travel to four states in response to what Attorney General Xavier Becerra has decided are anti-LGBT rights laws those states have enacted over the past year.

Texas, Alabama, South Dakota and Kentucky join the list first created last year. North Carolina, Kansas, Mississippi and Tennessee were the first states put on the list.

California tax dollars “will not be used to let people travel to states who chose to discriminate,” Becerra said.

If only they would ban their citizens too.

I’m all for California banning its two senators and all its congress-critters from leaving the state and coming to
Washington DC.

Nice first step in not allowing the California government to fund travel to Texas, I support it but it doesn't go far enough.

California should immediately recall all Californian born citizens back from Texas and move them back there again.

If it is not essential, why are they traveling anyway?

They should just ban taxpayer dollars for being used for all non essential travel.

Period.

These are very sick people, in other words leftists. IF we don’t stop them they will turn the United States into a one party rule socialist state,through illegal and legal changes in demographics.

If the establishment had not lost their collective minds, we would have court decisions declaring this nonsense unconstitutional.

And of course the other states did absolutely nothing to “discriminate” they just won’t pass the time and money wasting socialist legislation demanded by dictatorship California.

It’s a first step. Next, stop traveling to states you disagree with on
* guns
* abortion
* global warming
* communism
* illegals

Pretty soon, no other state will have to be concerned about official visits from California representatives.

As much as they want to exploit the 10th amendment and demand sovereignty for their state, you’d think they’d have have more respect for other US states and not want to act like Iran or N Korea with a “my way or the highway” approach to individual and state rights.

Oh please, even though it’s state money you know if this were reversed, the liberal circuit courts would find they are restricting the movement of their citizens, interfering in important projects, etc.

I really want them to make it RETROACTIVE and Mandatory to get all the ex-Californians BACK to where they came from.

They are destroying every city in every state. Austin Texas in particular is almost L.A. now.

I gather Michigan doesn’t have the “anti-discrimination” legislation demanded by California. IF the GOP had any brains or spheres, they would shove this issue straight up the democrats’ tail pipes. Of course, they might like that.

But dropping euphemisms for a minute, so we have evidence that gays will be “discriminated” against a as result of admitting more muslims to the united States, the gays being US citizens, how can the 9th circuit court of assorted leftists and homosexuals ignore this?
