Married teacher arrested for having sex with teen student A married teacher was busted for allegedly raping a 16-year-old student as they carried on a romantic relationship, according to reports.
Lindsey Jarvis, 27, allegedly had sex with the underage boy when she worked as a social studies teacher at Woodford County Middle School in Kentucky, according to WKYT.
The victim told police that he slept with Jarvis, while his cellphone had evidence that he and the teacher were in a romantic relationship.

I’m sorry, this may be a high school boys fantasy, but I really do not understand why an adult woman would want to do it with a teen age boy, given all the down side consequences. But this sure seems like it happens more and more.

In Kentucky, the age of consent for sexual intercourse depends on the victim’s age. The general age of consent is 16 years old, but may be 18 years old for other circumstances.
I’ll explain it to you:
when you have a job or a business and you form a relationship with a woman, there’s a very good chance that you’re going to lose those things.
but if a woman instead goes after a boy, he has no experience in this, has no reputation to smash, a family to lose, a position to be fired from.
He the boy is almost completely free of fear. He’s basically a pre feminism man, but younger.
It makes ABSOLUTE SENSE this happens.
There’s multiple cases nationwide once a week, it’s like an epidemic. I have no idea why. Here’s another one, mentoring a student at his home and she tell him to take his clothes off and they had sex while his PARENTS were home!!!

I dont think this is an ‘epidemic’ for 16 year old teenage boys! more like htting the powerball..
I understand and have had some not so good experiences with some people who have control issues. They can be dangerous. But anyone using common sense (which may be absent in this case) would recognize that in these circumstances, after the deed, the student probably has more leverage for control than the adult. A teacher should recognize this before that fact. What is wrong with these people? Rhetorical question.
