But do prattle on darlin'...
I identify as a person who busted his butt to get where I am, by the grace of God. Try to take it from me, anyone.
Someone should take a moment to educate this ****** ***** about the white men whose blood purchased her right to spout her outrageously stupid opinions.
It identifies as a female.
Someone needed to say this.
A job is not a gift. It is earned. And it must be earned again and again.
Holy smokes. With all that BS, how does she ever find time to...well...breathe????
What a waste of oxygen.
Ummm.... the president of the last 2 terms was black... and race relations are worse than they have been in decades.
Prof: Piper Harron
Affiliation: University of Hawaii at Manoa
Interests: Calculus II, intersectional radical feminism, Number Theory, anti-racism, etc.
My first big endeavor to improve mathematics was my PhD thesis, which Im sharing here. I will use this site to share resources related to math or academia, but I do not anticipate regular postings as I spend most of my time dealing with childcare, worrying about politics, or researching the history of social injustice.
“I have expressed and repressed a large number of feelings since Election Day. I am scared of a Trump presidency, but if liberation is my aim, I should not have been satisfied with a Clinton presidency. The machine of death that is the United States of America should never be satisfying to anyone who supports the people. Still, I am scared of a Trump presidency...What keeps me on edge is the miraculous capacity humans have not to scream when they ought to...
...The election of Donald Trump was a declaration of civil war from modern white supremacist people who felt war had already been declared on them. We need to scream. We need to obstruct. We need to fight. We need to resist. We should feel no obligation to compromise where we have already compromised....
For a while now, people have talked about staying woke. Well, woke dont matter if you dont act. We need to stay more than woke.
If we want justice, we must stop being reasonable. We must throw out all our notions of the right way to do things. (Academics, purge your belief in meritocracy.) This is an emergency.
Do not negotiate with racists. Do not negotiate with bigots. Do not compromise on justice.
Stay woke.
Stay unreasonable.
Stay screaming.

Your tax dollars fund her “screaming”. I think she needs a job cleaning stables until she learns what work is like - work when you don’t have time to concentrate on “intersectional radical feminism, Number Theory, anti-racism, etc.”
What the hell is a Math professor opining on this type of thing for? I’ll bet money she did her thesis on some mathematical underpinning of her racist theories, and the institution fawned over it as if it were Newton’s Principia.
Interesting how in her blog she mentions growing up without guidance and feeling lost.
I think many, if not most, SJWs are cut from the same cloth. In addition to their own mental health issues (especially narcissism), they probably grew up coddled physically but emotionally and intellectually neglected. (Probably their own parents were “off.”)
Thrown into university, they find themselves grossly unqualified and out of their element. Instead of acknowledging their limitations, or finding some place more their level, they choose to blame the world.
What makes this overeducated moron believe that employers will put up with their workers “giving” their jobs to anyone else, regardless of minority status?

Have you considered how you might improve in the verbal area?
Let’s give that lucrative math professorship to a member of the community, preferably an ex-con.
