Cop Overdoses after Touching Fentanyl Dust
Breitbart Texas ^ | 05/18/2017 | by Bob Price

An Ohio police officer passed out and had to be treated for an emergency overdose after he merely brushed some fentanyl powder off his shirt following a drug bust. It took four doses of the opioid overdose antidote, Narcan, to revive him.

Chris Green took the normal safety precautions when he searched a car and arrested two suspects on drug charges, officials stated. However, upon returning to his station, another officer advised him he had white powder on his shirt. Without thinking about it, he brushed the dust off with his bare hand, Christian Broadcasting News (CBN) reported on Thursday.

Police chief John Lane said his officer was very lucky. “If he would have been alone, he would have been dead,” the chief said. “That’s how dangerous this stuff is. What if he went home and got it on his family members?”

“Fentanyl can kill you,” DEA Deputy Administrator Jack Riley advised in a sent out to law enforcement officers in 2015. “Fentanyl is being sold as heroin in virtually every corner of our country. It’s produced clandestinely in Mexico, and (also) comes directly from China. It is 40 to 50 times stronger than street-level heroin. A very small amount ingested, or absorbed through your skin, can kill you.”

Even more dangerous, is another new drug in the cartels’ arsenal, carfentanil. This drug is a tranquilizer that is so strong, it is designed to be used in stopping a 14,000-pound elephant. It is 10,000-times the strength of morphine and 100-times stronger than fentanyl. Police in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, seized $1 million worth of carfentanil from a home after postal workers notified them about a suspicious package. The package contained 5 grams of the hyper-dangerous drug, enough to make $1 million worth synthetic heroin, filled in 50,000 stamp bags, police reported.

It has to be in gel form to be absorbed through the skin. Or at least be wet. And just by “touching” it is not going to absorb enough to do anything. You have to have it setting on your skin for awhile.

This cop used some. He HAD to have.

Way to out yourself.

Trying to make a point?

If you are, then come right on out with it...and when you do, make sure to explain just how stupid you are if you advocate free and absolute availability to guns...unlimited...without regard to thuggishness, drug dealing, etc.

Moron asshole.

If everyone had guns, thugs, thieves, druggies, mentally ill people, and any other bad people would think twice about shooting at someone or going on a rampage.

We certainly wouldn’t have 40 dead in a nightclub, or 20 dead at a high school. It would be maybe 1 dead before shooter put down.

Guns for everyone. If you’re an American citizen you have the right to own a firearm regardless of what type of person you are. Anything less is infringement upon the Second Amendment. Registries, background checks, “Felon in possession of firearm”, all that bullshit is infringement and it is unconstitutional.

If someone wants a gun they get it anyways. So level the playing field.

The consequences of bad decisions indeed belongs to the individual making them — not you nor anyone else. And it certainly shouldn’t affect your ability to use everday, public accommodations.

WRONG, I end up with ALL THE GI SIDE EFFECTS from any topical drug application. Neurotin was put in a compound cream for Arthritis and it made me sick as a dog. Just the same as the Pills did. Same with the Fen patch, shut my bowel down/acid reflux just like pill Opioids do. It’s not been just those 2 but any drug that does the so called ‘by pass the stomach’ spiel they give, even a Estrogen Patch, I started puking acid with the first application, and it shut my bowel down in 2 weeks. ALL forms of Estrogen does that, pill, patch and shot. ZOSYN Zapped my vision for 3 weeks, and that is IV delivered. Took a full 5 weeks before I could see to drive. I had to stay in a dim room until the crap got out of my system my eyes were so sensitive to light with Blurred Vision. Adhesives especially EKG patches means HIVES that need Predisone. I can get by with a quick EKG but if they leave the monitor hooked up and the patches on, I will break out in Hives under them.

Think. I did NOT say that the skin patch not go into blood stream and avoid all tissues. Of course it gets to stomach and all tissues. But it does not start with digestive tract.

Anyway, nasty stuff in concentrated form! And I have lab coat holes to prove it. LOL.

When we were told later that the guy had lost his entire arm after an exposure to his finger tip... it freaked us all out. We were all used to multiple “white powder” hoax calls over the years and had some very expensive equipment to identify unknown substances. We also worked with an army team made up of very experienced technicians. We tried to always follow procedure but HF and a few other nasty substances were good reminders that you cannot be too careful.

No one is stronger on the 2nd amendment than I am; my wife and I collect vintage firearms. But in my experience your theory doesn't actually hold up. The psychos that I have had to deal with over the years do not generally think about the consequences of their actions. A naked psycho with a hand gun once pulled the trigger several times while it was pointed at me at close range. It was by the grace of God that he had loaded his magazine wrong and that I am still around to talk about it. He intended to commit suicide and hoped to take someone with him.

It sure tears the H out of mine. Shots are the worse as the side effects last longer.

This is awful. Did it get into his eyes or nose or mouth, or did he have some cut on his hand? How did he ingest it?

I am getting scared — a very nice house down the block is a halfway house rehab for drug abusers. I don’t want this crap around my house. Scary.

That’s why I don’t want that stuff in my water (fluoride).

It is absorbed through the skin. It is scary. It could be used as a WMD.

Wow, to have those bad effects from every substance. I sincerely hope you have a long healthy life! My friend is allergic to opiates and thus she doesn’t have the benefits they provide from pain or surgery. I love estrogen; it’s the sweet nice happy hormone for me. Been on it for many years due to pituitary tumor.

The only thing a junkie knows is that he/she needs to figure out where to score some more drugs. That is all they care about.

“Opioid overdose antidote. Try saying that five times fast.”

Especially if you’re the one who needs it.

Like I said. When they went on a rampage 1 MAYBE 2 at most would die before they were put down.

If everyone had a gun it would be a whole hell of a lot better then what we have now.

Any infringement is against the second amendment and thus against the constitution of the USA. Therefore it stands to reason; anyone should be able to purchase a gun. If you say “well sooooooooooommmmmmeeee people shouldn’t”, you cannot go on to say in the next sentence you support the second amendment. Period.

“Should we just let the druggies die?”

The idea works for me. Drain the swamp.
