A special note from Loud Mime:
We open the doors at 6pm, were setting up at that time but people are welcome, especially if they help.
We do not charge admission, but we ask for donations. This event is costing us, so we pass the hat.
Parking around the venue may fill up. Some can expect to walk a block or two; its a nice neighborhood.
Earlier thread from March 21.
Not everyone in Cankles’ camp believed that. Jake Sullivan, a top strategist, had her in trouble in PA and MI, but Robby Mook blew him off. I yhink Podesta knew, and he’s the one who may have cancelled the fireworks. But everyone afraid to tell her.
So, how was it?
Awful timing that FR was still down...
Terrible timing, with FR being down for days before his appearance. Hopefully it was successful in any case.
That's Right! I remember Trump offering to buy them for like $5,000!
Being a born and bred Buckeye, I knew Trump would carry OH with quite a margin. I did my own polling. I didn’t really expect a 9 point spread, rather something like 5. But, hey, it was an overwhelming victory.
As to the "tweets" for which Trump has gotten so much criticism, Schweikart suggested that they might be intended to lead the media astray--like hunks of cheese dropped into a maze to lure mice--while the administration quietly carries out Trump's agenda, such as beefing up the border.
In California, the GOP also lost seats in the legislature. In my district, Democrat Josh Newman ousted our Republican State Senator to became the deciding vote on the big gasoline tax increase that was just passed.
I suspect that many California Republicans may have stayed home because Trump wasn't going to win the state's electoral votes and the choice for US Senate was between two Democrats with no write-ins allowed--thanks to the "jungle primary" system that the voters approved recently.
Recall that bastard.
It was very nice. Also nice to meet LS in person, and he got in a public plug for FR. Which, if anyone did go look for it, was down at the time, but... ;)
It looks like we have a pretty good shot at recalling Josh Newman. The recall campaign is well-organized, with petitioners showing up at places like Wal-Mart and Trader Joe’s to gather signatures.
Great review and summary, thanks! Wish it hadn’t been so far away!
Awesome that you got to be there, Yaelle!
LS is worth a little LA traffic. ;)
Per Drudge. Los Alamitos wants to defy the state law and side with the Feds. Live right next to Los Al
