Trump is not at fault for all of this. For standing up for what is right after so many have failed to do so, he is now exposing, and causing the evil side to expose even themselves, and showing how evil the society and governmental systems are. It has reached a self-destructive level beyond what many of us even imagined. If God through our prayers does not put his finger in the mix, we are doomed.

Thank you. We’ve considered it, but the hatred of Americans puts ex-Pats in danger...and perhaps some don’t even recognize it.

Would love to run for office. No joke. Fluently bilingual and can appeal to what values the Spanish-speakers have to get things reversed. Who would fund it, though? I don’t have that kind of money.

Our government is broken. We have so many enemies inside the gates that have figured out ways to use the system against us.

We have lost our government. We need a convention of the states. Balanced budget amendment/term limits for congress/eliminate all federal agencies that overstep constitutional authority/restore separation of powers/hold intelligence agencies accountable for spying on Americans/ shutdown the IRS/Get the $$$money$$$ lobbyist out of D.C..

Anything short of this, will have us on a doomed path as a constitutional republic.

>>I am sure in 1775 the Founding Fathers thought their government could potentially “crush” them, yet they fought anyway.<<

I hate the thought we'd have another civil war or revolution in this country. Damn it would be bad.

That said, we cannot vote these people out fast enough to save our republic. It's almost impossible. So, what other recourse is there? Don't mistake what I'm saying, I am NOT advocating any sort of civil war or revolution. Horrible thought.

Besides, gubbamint has setup a civilian force as well funded, well equipped as the military....wink wink. Seriously, those in charge of protecting us can also be unleashed on citizens.

Just asking the questions. What are we to do? What other recourse is there that would save our country? Warshington is so damn corrupt. We have no way to purge this.

Ideas?

We used to kill communists...

The people who advocate for the crimmigrants are all communists.

“Speak Spanish! Barks the enforcer. Or else”

Was the same in Madagascar when my kids and I lived there. No American child who did not speak French could go to any French school. We Americans got irked and bought the Calvert Method of Home Schooling and taught our kids from grade 1-12. This was done easily and every kids was often 2 to 3 grades ahead of their age/grade a year later.

The Malagasy were wonderful to us. The French treated us like dirt and were not helpful ...except the physicians. They did their work well and we survived some major problems. But we were not invited into French homes or even to try and talk with them. Some called us illiterate swine. I do not care for the French at all.

I am grateful for the year I spent there and do understand expats who have difficulties in other countries.

“Trump is wavering and that is not good.”

Yes, you have summed it up well. I, too, am getting antsy. No more waiting around for the good fairy. It just isn’t going to happen.

Build the damned wall. Eject the illegals of all stripes.

Is becoming? Try: been that way a long time. The parties are too addicted to themselves, the people are too addicted to blame, nobody has any interest in thinking through problems, everybody wants the quick fix, and they run from populist rabble rouser to populist rabble rouser then complain when things don’t magically get better. It took decades to build this mess, anybody thinking it’ll get fixed faster than that is just being dumb.

Ideas?

Remember the organic, leaderless Tea Party and the havoc they wrought among the New Upper Class?

What is needed is an organic, leaderless tax strike. Not so much "stop paying" as "stop generating taxable income." It was already starting to happen as a result of Obama's policies - perversely, Trump's election has renewed economic enthusiasm and is increasing revenues to the Treasury.
