The prime time program shuffle resulting from the Bill O'Reilly departure from Fox News Channel is seriously flawed, and will fail quickly with a massive loss of viewers of "The Five".....now slated for the 9:00PM time slot. The show is boring, with only one member of "The Five" worth her salt {KG), and, it is not Dana Perino, who is terrible. The three males are losers with little substance. Bob Beckel and Juan Williams are not dummies...but 100% empty suits!!!
The winning line up would be:
- Martha McCallum at 7:00PM - Tucker Carlson at 8:00PM - Jesse Watters at 9:00PM - Sean Hannity at 10:00PM
A winning combination, IMHO!!!
Watters should get the 9:00 time.
I agree with you halfway...”Dobbs” would be terrific in any slot”on either FNC or remaining on FBN!!! The Five...not so agreeable!!! I used to watch it all the time...but dropped it completely during the POTUS Primary and General Election. Perino is a Trump hater!!!
I dont watch ‘the five’ in its current time slot, partly because it is opposite local news and weather, mostly because I’ve found it uninteresting.
Watters is too young for his own show every night. He can barely pull off the weekend show. He will be a good fit on the Five.
Did anyone hear Hannity’s radio show today? An hour of “I didn’t know O’Reilly” — We were not friends, really.” “I only spend an hour at Fox studio, the rest of the time I’m across the street where I do research (or something)”. It was sickening. Might be interesting to watch him tonight to see if he continues along that line.
Agree with all you said. Kimberly is brilliant, except for the past mistake of marrying a certain Democrat mayor, but she is conservative Republican and is an excellent lawyer and speaker.
As for Greg having a screw loose, they can create a new Pee-Wee Herman type show starring him, as you never know where he's coming from with his outbursts. Sometimes he does sound deranged.
Hannity has stated he wants to remain at 10:00PM!!! I think his is a wise move...when it is 10:00PM on the east coast, it is 7:00PM on the west coast, allowing for tremendously wide TV coverage across the nation at prime time!!!
Except for Tucker Carlson from time to time, I will never watch that channel again.

People want to relax at 5 with a panel discussion.
By 9, they're more responsive to a show with one authoritative host.
I haven’t had cable in years so it doesn’t matter to me but I do enjoy watching Tucker on YouTube.
It was fairly well know that they did not like each other.
When Hannity had the 9PM spot O’Reilly would never cross reference Hannity’s upcoming show during his show’s sign off.

I strongly disagree with you. Jesse Watters has a potent MoJo, a spine of steel, and take guff from no one. Yes, he is young...but....he has the makings of a great TV host and commentator!! He is just what FNC needs!!!

But it will introduce more people to Jesse Watters, who will end up with his own primetime FNC program within a year. Probably “Watters World” like he has now on Saturday but maybe something even better.
Well, I can’t take Hannity - or O’Reilly for that matter. But it was sickening this consistent denial — but then Hannity does repeat himself when he’s not interrupting. He’s the next to go.

I never understood the popularity of O’Reilly. Glad to see Tucker get that slot. Hannity should be on at 9:00.
It’s funny, as much as people bitched about O’Reilly, called him Tex Baxter, bloviator, etc - how many now say they’re done with Fox because they canned him. I’d have thought people would be happy.
