The results of Tuesday’s special congressional election in Georgia have left actress Alyssa Milano sick to her stomach. “I want to puke,” the Who’s The Boss and Charmed star tweeted after Democratic favorite Jon Ossoff came up short in Georgia’s Sixth District special election.
Ossoff, a 30-year-old former Capitol Hill staffer and documentary filmmaker, was seen as the Democratic Party’s hope to steal a seat that had been held by a Republican for 40 years.
Milano, who personally drove voters to polling sites for Ossoff, responded to a tweet sent by President Trump Tuesday celebrating the Democratic candidate’s failure to reach 50 percent of the vote.
“Despite major outside money, FAKE media support and eleven Republican candidates, BIG “R” win with runoff in Georgia. Glad to be of help!” Trump tweeted Tuesday night.
“FYI @realDonaldTrump, Republicans didn’t win. Ossoff (88.5) got more than twice as many votes than the Republican (35.5),” Milano responded.
Ossoff is now set to face Republican candidate Karen Handel in a runoff election in June. Most political experts believe Ossoff will fall short in the Republican-dominated district that helped send Trump to the White House.

They can’t understand how they can want it so much, and can work so hard (by their standards, anyway), and still not get what they want. The sick feeling comes from not being able to understand reality. They have never lost before, so they don’t know how. They don’t know how it could happen.
Really, we will be doing these people a service if we make they lose, over and over again, until they can finally learn how to deal with it.

Dems got almost 49%
Dems will lose the runoff.

The Democrats combined had a total of 93,911 votes cast among 6 Dems, and Ossoff got 92,390 votes of that total.
The Republicans combined had a total of 97,999 votes among ELEVEN candidates—support should coalesce and front runner, Karen Handel will get those 97,999 votes—plus some GOP that stayed home.
Hmm, it made me want to dance for joy. Now that someone with the intellectual and political stature as Milano has weighed in I should reconsider.
