If it’s as good for hand held weapons as the rifle was it will be a success................

The Czechs already make the perfect pistol in 9mm, the CZ-75b.
The 1911 in. 45acp is still the weapon from God’s lips to Browning’s ear :)

Well, I figure that I'll just keep my Warsaw Pact Makarov 7.62x25 CZ-52 ... quite a good hand-cannon ...

You make it look so easy. Now, which one of those is the AK-47 again?

7.62x25mm is a Tokarev , not the 9x18mm Makorov. Both are reliable shooters but hot Romanian Tok 7.62x25mm is awesome.

Crud ... you're right. I got completely mashed up on this. Mine is a Czech version. Very hot ... I just wish that the magazine ejected, rather than having to be pulled out of the pistol. Other than that, I just love it.

If you are interrested I can show you how to build an adjustable trigger stop into one. Great gun, love mine.

You are so right with this visual. Not three weeks ago, the Great Falls (Montana) Tribune, a Gannett paper did a big front page silhouette of weapons and the AR-15 was identified as an AK-47. Wonder if that art was a pull from USA Today?

The AK isn’t a “good” rifle by any standard, unless “cheap”,”idiot-proof” and “moderately reliable” and are your only criteria!
Notice I left out “accurate,” “easy to maintain” and “well-made” .....
Oh, and by the by, dangling participles are something up with which, I will not put!

Don’t dry fire that rascal unless you have replaced the firing pin with a US made one. The originals are very brittle and break easily.
