I would think an ABL flying over South Korean airspace could make that shot. Pull it out of mothballs, paint it up in KAL colors and pop the missiles right when it comes off the pad.

Seoul is well protected????????
How do you protect a city that is in range from 10,000 heavy arty pieces?

McCroskey: Johnny, what can you make of this?

Johnny: This? Well, I can make a hat; I can make a brooch; I can make a pterodactyl!

“Duck And Cover”
And while you’re scrunched down under your desk kiss your a$$ goodbye. A truly farcical film campaign. The high school I went to was a mile and a half from one of the largest fuel refineries in North America. Tell me a wood and sheet steel desk was gonna save my bacon with me inside the primary blast radius.

I’m old enough to remember bomb drills in school. Always wondered what that desk was made of if it was so safe under there.

Why not make it a million and add some nuclear winter fiction? Most of North Korea's artillery lacks needed range to go that far. A few layers of defensive weapons will stop the missiles (and rounds from the few rocket-assisted cannon) that have the needed range. Sight, readiness and accuracy from the air, ground and ocean will take artillery positions out quickly enough. Better now than later.
And again, if nothing is done about North Korea and Iran now, what about missile attacks on our own cities during the months and years to come? What does the government-funded, western/northeastern libertine contingent of the political class want to do about that?

Exactly. Most NK artillery cannot reach Seoul. The smaller cities located closer to the border however will be anhilated. Those need to be evacuated before the ballons go up. Image sourced from Zero Hedge.

I said nothing at all about doing nothing. So thanks for the info.

I remember the duck & cover drills back in the early/mid 60s.
For some reason I don’t recall those drills. Maybe I was born a little later than thou (1952) but I was ‘educated’ in Northern California schools and fire drills seemed to be staged every so often. It was a great break from learning my multiplication tables.
As an aside, my mother’s aunt and uncle were civil defense wardens during WW2 (and Gold Star parents as well). They manned the city hall observation post above city hall in Pittsburg (CA) watching for Jap planes. I had the poster of the enemy planes in silhouette for many years on my bedroom wall. The prop planes on climbout from OAK and SFO, Travis AFB and Alameda NAS, in the late 50’s made me aviation crazy. I’m still crazy but I digress.
