Never count us out. We have come back from being down 3 goals and won before. It was doable. I’d like to see some of those holds called. And the interference. I hate the puck over glass penalty. It should not be a penalty, should be a face off in your end. I don’t care who does it, it’s a stupid thing to penalize for anyone. I wouldn’t change anything about our game, except for Neal’s cross check. Exciting game, with more speed than dirty play, unlike our last series.
Oh, I’m not counting you guys out. The Preds are probably wondering how they lost that game. Rinne had a stinker. He’ll tighten up by wednesday.
Neal has gotten that stupid penalty out of his system. I expect a good game in two days.
Pittsburgh can play much much better. Crosby pointed out that they were constantly missing the net on their shots which is the real explanation for that long shot drought. Pittsburgh better get themselves together or they’ll be on the wrong side of the bounces.
I liked the speed, Nashville looks fast. (Pittsburgh had some speedy players sitting who might be in next game) and always hate the “let them play” BS from the officials. I think puck over the glass is a safety decision. It keeps players from shooting pucks into the crowd to get themselves out of trouble on the ice. The penalty is a pain though (Pittsburgh had three in a row in last years playoffs)
Amazing game. Neal hits crossbar at 3-3, then Guentzel skewers Rinne with a perfect Fedorov-like shot. These Preds are tougher than last year’s Sharks, but Pens will always find a way to win when it counts.

well the tv lost its connection just now here in central Texas just as the Pens scored again.

Smart move by Malkin. As great as Malkin is — and he is doing a little bit of everything, not just scoring — Subban is even more valuable to his team, considering the minutes he piles up, and high-quality ones.
