Fake news. That was a United Airlines Training Video.
“.........a body, found on the hospital roof, showed injuries that appeared to be related to a strong impact.”.......
Think about that for a second.... It would be pretty obvious if a body WERE thrown from an airplane and landed on a roof, no matter who’s roof, wouldn’t you expect there might be some “trauma” to said body? (I DID read the whole story)
Uhhh....should have been the funeral home, shouldn’t it?
Only if he landed at the cemetery.
Mexican Air Ambulance: You’re doing it wrong!
Yeah, thrown from a plane and landing on a roof could cause some serious bruising.......
Doh!
Only batting .333 on the accuracy.
A couple of years ago I didn't watch what I was doing and fell four feet, landing flat on my back. WHOOF! Hurt like Hell but I couldn't let the wife see me spread-eagled in the back yard (I was 80 then). Crawled into the garage and lay there for about 15 minutes until I got my wind back.
Later on I told her what had happened, just in case I keeled over. (She was not happy). A day later my bod started hurting ALL OVER so we went down to the ER. Doc looked at the X-Rays and said "no damage, but I can see the imprint of your ribs on your lungs". So yeah, I have some small idea of what "injuries that appeared to be related to a strong impact" would look like.
[sidebar] On some crime show they had a bizarre episode where a guy in Kentucky stepped out to get the morning newspaper and found some dead guy lying there with a suitcase full of money. It ended up being a drug deal, but I think the guy tried to parachute out with the money and the chute wasn't hooked up right. One Helluva odd occurrence.
Just reading the posts to this story show much BAD PR United has brought down upon themselves by evicting that doctor from their flight the other day...social media...it’s a bitch.
“We’re still losing altitude!” says the pilot.
So the Texan .....
Man, that one’s got hair on it.
