Just how much influence is President Donald Trump going to have on the U.S. Supreme Court? His administration hasn’t been quiet about its hopes to replace as many as four justices — with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg near the top of the list.
But with rumbling concerns about her health, Ginsburg doesn’t appear to be ready to step down. In fact, the same week she was a no-show at President Trump’s address to Congress, she was in the news for her impressive workout regimen.
Now aged 84, and the senior member of the high court’s four-person liberal wing, Ginsburg has had a series of health issues. Since the 1990s she has suffered two bouts of cancer as well as heart problems.

In 1869 Congress passed a law setting the number of supreme court justices at 9. Roosevelt tried to increase the number but was turned back by the court.

You know I didn’t like it when the Left was doing this and I don’t like it when we do it. She’ll serve as long as she chooses to or can, she’ll live and die by God’s timetable, not ours, not the Dem’s.
I remember whenever when Strom Thurmond (I think) was still in the Senate and the party count was like 50-50 (whatever it was) and the Dems and the MSM were like ghouls, hoping the guy would drop dead every day. I said: they better cool it or some 50 year old Dem Senator is going to get hit by a bus.
I’m not a big fan of RBG but I like how she resisted the calls to step down while Obama was in office. Screw you I worked hard to get here and I’m staying put, I say that’s a good attitude.
I think of SCOTUS acting as unelected super legislators raining tyranny down on me and my family and all the citizenry.
There is no honor in dishonorable service to your Nation.
Ruth is a prime example of judicial tyranny.
She violated her oath to uphold the constitution.
Ruth and the rest of the corrupt black robed revolutionaries need to go.
84? She has at least another 10 years. My mother lived to be 100+ and was active and in good health until the last 4 years. It was really only the last year that her decline was perceptible.

As long as she is able to take her nap during oral argument, she should be fine for at least the remainder of this term.
