The potential for these kinds of issues was why my dad never would allow any non-church organizations to be “unequally yoked together” with the church property. And that was in the ‘60s. You just never know what the future will hold.
One church my husband and I visited had a Montessori school renting one of the buildings which raised a red flag with me. A few years later we learned that Montessori was destroying the church with their shenanigans.

True to some extent. The mother of the confused girl-posing-as-a-boy in the news recently had initiated litigation against the BSA to admit her daughter as a "cub scout." These cases always - ALWAYS - end up in federal court. And we know how all of those cases turn out.

The Scouts forfeited that hard-won victory when they relented to the queers. Now, they have no justification.
Yep, the left found out the corporate sponsors / board members of the BSA and then moved their people in place. Much of which was caused / supported by our current Sec of State. He was on the board because of the Exxon/Mobile sponsorship.
Which is why, despite being an assistant scout master for several years and raising my son from Tiger cub scout to Boy Scout 1st class, I publicly renounced and resigned from the BSA, both in front of the other Scout Masters and in front of my church.
As a Deacon in my church, I could no longer support the BSA in any form.

I’m not familiar with that church but I’d be curious about the individual member’s financial status. I’m thinking it’s not a poor church...plus appears to be “non-ethnic”.
The church is located on the right side of I-77 going north...but Lake Norman sits just to the left if I-77. That area has mucho high-priced waterfront homes and neighborhoods. Got to have the big bucks to live in most of those places. Not saying the lake people are members, but a lot of development has taken place along that corridor, along with an increase in property prices. Development has outstripped the road system. Be prepared to sit in traffic going north at rush hour. Big NASCAR crowd up there too.
