Angry Kentucky fans flood referee's business with poor Facebook reviews following UNC loss

Well, this is one way to get over a tough loss in the NCAA tournament.

Angry Kentucky fans seeking vengeance have found it in the form of attacking a roofing company from Nebraska named John Higgins Weatherguard, Inc. Why would Big Blue Nation find solace in this? It’s owned by the referee from the Wildcats loss to North Carolina.

Of course, Kentucky head basketball coach John Calipari seemed to take issue with the officiating from last weekend’s game, as noted by several people from his post game press conference.

These "fans" would destroy a man's business because he made calls they didn't like. They are a disgrace to the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the University as well. Every Cat fan should be ashamed of these people.

Pretty Charlie Sierra response - and actionable as business slander. I’d take that case...

I am a Tarheel fan and I haven’t heard anything around here about bad officiating during the game. The foul stats are almost equal.

There were stinky calls but that’s the ways it goes sometimes...

This is all on Calipari...He DID make comments that alluded to poor officiating as the reason for their loss...

I am a huge, loyal UK Fan, born and raised in the Buckeye State, now living in the Hoosier State, by way of the Bluegrass State. LOL But, yes, I do “bleed blue”, and I do think the ‘”rooferee” made some bad calls during that game. HOWEVER, I think what these so-called “fans” are doing to this rooferee are totally out of line, and an embarrassment. Shame on them. Having said that...GO CATS!! There’s the hope of next year and GO SOUTH CAROLINA this year!

UK fans take it very hard and very personal when they lose to an NC team in the NCAA tournament. I think they're still nursing a nasty grudge against Christian Laettner of Duke from 1992.

haha of course you wouldn’t. Tarheel fans are notorious of not noticing the favorable treatment they get. the fact that UNC has not received the death penalty for 30 years of out right cheating is evidence lol.

I thought the refs let UNC get away with a good amount of over the back situations. I am sure that is what the UK fans are salty about.

Basketball fans have been commiserating about losses for decades. . . . Must not let the “snowflake” mentality invade this traditional competition. . . where someone wins, and someone loses. Ask the Tar Heels about their last game’s outcome at the last second.

I watched the game, it was pretty one sided. Touch fouls called on KY and over the back almost never called on NC.

It is said good teams overcome their coaching. Great teams overcome the officiating.

I didn’t watch the game & not really interested in college sports much anymore. This behavior is uncalled for, wrong and thoroughly disgusting.

I am surrounded by U of L and UK fans in this neck of the woods. If I found any one of them behaving like this I would read them off in no uncertain terms.

If UK fans think officiating cost them the game, they pretty much might as well be Hillary voters.... sour graping.

Was a good hard fought game... Ref’s bad calls on both sides of the court didn’t cost either team the game.

I am a huge Kentucky fan, and I think what these “fans” are doing to this referee is terrible. Not all of us who are loyal UK fans are that way.

Good thing they didn't waste their fury on something unimportant.

Patrick Henry would be so proud...

That shot was 25 years ago TODAY. One of those events where, if you were watching, you remember where you were.
