The alleged rape of a Maryland high school student by two schoolmates — one an undocumented immigrant — has prompted a torrent of threats and hate messages to the school and the school system, a county school spokesman said Thursday.
Hundreds of hate-filled emails and calls have been received by Rockville High School and the Montgomery County Public School District, Derek Turner said. The calls and emails came after police said two students, 18-year-old Henry Sanchez-Milian and 17-year-old Jose Montano, had been arrested and charged as adults with first-degree rape.

Uh, alleged rape and the ones lawyer says he ain’t guilty? Consensual? WTH? At least one of them was slated for deportation. What the heck? He/they end up enrolled in school so they can learn English for when they once again turn up illegally? What a country huh? Heard there was a SCOTUS ruling in ‘82 that covers their enrollment or something.

Both perps are illegals. The older one was “caught-and-released” by Border Patrol crossing the border, issued a citation and “notice to appear”.
The County Council President stated on camera “The border patrol had him and let him go! What are we supposed to do? Bad things happen.” The whole concept of a layered defense totally escapes him. Neither the county nor the school system will ask any background information like immigration status.
Meanwhile the state House of Delegates just passed a bill to make Maryland a “Sanctuary State”.
There are 23 counties and 1 city (Baltimore), and the state is at the mercy in elections and legislation of two counties and a city (Montgomery and Prince George’s counties and Baltimore). The rest of the state is actually pretty normal.
