My wife had an amneo. While it was useful, it had no bearing our decision to have a child. But on the scary meter, it was pretty much dialed up to 11.
Wow.
I admire Prince for not wanting to see if the child was “defective’ so they could abort, as is happening WAY too much.
I wonder though, how much an effect of lots of drug use has on miscarriages.
My friend’s brother smoked about an ounce A DAY. Probably for 10 years before his wife gave birth to a terribly sick child.
Then they had a healthy one.
So who knows?
Maybe eating tons of processed food for 10 years before is bad too.
I don’t know.
Wow they lost two kids, that is tough. Could be another reason why he turned to drugs. I still do not understand how he got fentanyl. They use that stuff for anesthesia and for cancer patients and this guy was popping them like candy. And incredibly after he overdoses and it taken to a hospital near death, he is left alone where OF COURSE he overdoses again and dies.
It is almost impossible for one person to smoke an ounce of weed a day.
He was perfect btw, now 16 and gorgeous!
I never cared for Prince while he was alive. He seemed to me a little self-important and narcissistic. My moniker for him was “the Purple Pansy with a messiah complex.”
Since his death, I’ve read several items that challenge my former view. He seems to have been a sensitive and caring soul whose values matched my own much closer than I had any reason to expect.
I often get in my flesh and, without realizing it, judge others harshly if their initial impression is not what I would like. That is the opposite of Christian love. And it is in direct opposition to the teachings of my Lord.
A much belated rest in peace, Prince.
An ounce? No way.
Fentenyl patches are not hard to get.
Actually, while he died of an OD it was from painkillers due to an injury to his back.
They guy was just normally weird.
Yeah, many years ago I was a very heavy dope smoker. I smoked as much as I could on a daily basis. On my best day I don't think I smoked an entire ounce. I might have, but I'm not sure.
And pot back then was nowhere near as potent as it is now.
No force with you. Must go back to the padawan school with you.
While he died of a drug overdose, he was very anti drug in his early life. He seems to have only gotten addicted to pain killers later in life as the pains of his early days dancing and performing caught up with him.
Prince was the first entertainer I knew who would get up and give thanks to “My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” for the most vile songs I ever heard...whose lyrics would make a prostitute blush!
Ah, maybe I’m wrong. I Was high at the time.
It’s NOT EASY to overdose and die on drugs, unless it’s a YUGE amount and/or you have some booze with it.
I had a friend who took 100mgs of xanax and while he was in psych for a few weeks, he didn’t die.
100mgs. Like what I need when I read about comey or obama or clinton or lynch or farrett or holder or...
I have learned things about him too since he died. Prince was always a hard guy to figure out. He had a weirdness factor up to eleven, but a lot of it seems to be just stage performance. He was apparently too shy to speak to people normally. If you could get to know him, he was apparently quite normal and not at all like him on stage. He did do a lot of charity work anonymously. At the time he died he was having a hospital built in Africa.
Wow. I “dabbled” (lol) in my college years , late 80’s early 90’s, can’t imagine an ounce. Not judging by no means.
He became a Jehovah’s Witness around 2000 or so. I recall several stories about people claiming he knocked on their door to witness to them. No one believed them but the local paper looked into it and it was him..
An ounce is really a lot.
