I have an idea. How about companies cut the crap about their corporate political beliefs and sell their stuff to people regardless of race, sex, creed, color or political persuasion.
Pat st issue of this long-irrelevant commie pinko fake news rag has pic of president trump in cover and the article is titled like : how trump will destroy American Democrwcy. Sorry I saw it at doctor office. We never read or even see this mag anywhere else in last ten or fifteen years.
Gratuitously annoy half your customer base. Go ahead.
As a famous politician once said: “What have you got to lose?”
I would not reward liberal supporting manufacturers if I knew who they were. With so many alternates available it doesn’t make sense to contribute to those not supporting my views.
They really need to update that. That “mother” thing is so cis-gender and heteronormative. They should probably change it to “Vagina-possessing breeder who may (or may not) identify as a nasty womyn”. Besides, the whole “mom” thing may be subconsciously associated with apple pie and USA, which is obviously xenophobic, but may also make pies of other colors uncomfortable and therefore be micro-aggresive. Check your privilege. [/lib mode]
Cultural issues, mostly.
NOT political.
The time has come to split this country into two parts. One for Americans and one for the fascist snowflakes.
Does the article publicly declare TIME’s loyalty? Or are they so obviously pro-Democrat that there’s no need?
But then who would brew their hot chocolate and wash their onesies?
“Our brand is loyal to the profits we derive from delivering a quality product to our customers.”
Heckuva good question about TIME’s loyalty. NYT? WaPo? just come on out and state it instead of hiding behind objectivity, a mere theoretical concept for these bozos.
What they are really doing on a large scale is demanding Trump supporters wear big yellow six-point stars so people of their ilk can assault and insult the “other.”
Once we do this, these companies should only be allowed to sell to those people who share their party loyalty. In other words, the fascist left is going to be doing a lot of biking and walking and I won’t be eating any sushi. (I don’t now).
Here Are All The Companies Still Carrying Ivanka Trump's Products
Shannon Coulter, a digital strategist who led the movement #GrabYourWallet last year, urges consumers to divert dollars from the companies that support the Trump family. While Ivanka has no formal role at the White House, the decision to sell or drop Ivanka's products from retail racks facing companies is growing more urgent.
I think it is equally stupid for conservatives to boycott stores because their owners or boards are liberal, as it is for liberals to boycott so-called "conservative" companies.
Companies aren't conservative or liberal. Workers, as workers, are not conservative or liberal.
Let people and companies make a living, and then in your spare time debate politics, religion, and culture.
Conservatives have the misconception that companies used to be conservative and Christian and wholesome because that's the way they ought to be.
No way!
Companies posed as conservative and Christian and wholesome because that's what sold back then. Now they pose as green, diverse, cosmopolitan, etc.
If we start a boycott battle then we will lose. We will be the ones that are fired. Our companies will be boycotted out of business.
This will just lead to more polarization and make it more difficult for the US to compete with China, etc.
Time is just mad their subscriptions and sales are in the toilet because nobody wants to be subjected to their lefty rantings.
Sour grapes.
A job is just work. If you don’t want to be there then LEAVE
You did that well enough that it hurt reading it. A little too well done.
Remember Sandra Fluke and the companies who dropped Rush after his remarks? Some ended up begging Rush to take them back. Pro “Fluke” Flowers and Shari’s “Pro Abortion” Berries almost went out of business. Now you can hear some are back on his show. Political stance does not pay for corporations.
