Linus is looking better all the time.
And yeah - I actually owned one of these once.
Windows Explorer on steroids without the ads.
There's a setting in file explorer to turn off some sync "feature" that does the advertising.
No idea what else it might do.

This isn’t a good way for MS to pull people from Firefox or Chrome.
Turned mine off by removing ‘One Drive” from ‘programs and features’.
Very easy to do.
Drove me crazy for a while, was installed in an update.
Spam - The final frontier.
The voyages of the OS Microsoft.
MS can stick that where no sun would dare shine.
W7 on all laptops
PING for advertising in Microsoft Windows 10 Explorer? Say it ain’t so. . .
FREE - Winaero to tweak many things Microsoft left off Windows 10. http://winaero.com
As expected.
The ability to understand computers and operating systems is inversely proportional to ones desire to go to Win 10 and like it.
The Windows operating system has been malware, virus, trojan, worm, and SPAM rolled into one. It’s virtually unusable for real work unless you rip everything Microsoft out of it. The only thing Microsoft has done half well is improving MS Office on the Macintosh. It still sucks on Windows because everything on Windows sucks.

I finished off Windows last year, just have one forlorn XP machine in case I have to boot up Office. I’m on Fedora Linux. It ain’t perfect, but it gets better every six months.
Figure I save $500 a year in various Microsoft taxes. Times say 20 years and that’s $10k. Then add in no virus crashes. I’m not into bells and whistles, just work, so the water is fine.
All of us “win 7 forever” die-hards are happy we don’t have to put up with this. MSFT becomes more and more intrusive.
I almost went Linux last week when it happened to me.
They do not have the right to invade my computer.
Just a data point ... but I can’t get this theoretical ad to show up. Is it just in a preview update?
I can’t see this myself
My file explorer does not show any advertisements
I have Windows 10 Hmmm
Perhaps I get my updates later.
