Will President Trump Fire U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades on "Billions?"

On Showtime's "Billions," the character of U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades is based on U.S. Attorney for Southern District of New York, Preet Bharara. In fact, the show itself is loosely based on Bharara's investigations of Wall Street.

Well, Bharara was just fired from his job so the question is will Chuck Rhoades also be fired from his job on "Billions?" He almost got fired on "Billions" by an Attorney General obviously based on Loretta Lynch. In fact, he deserves to be fired because although he recused himself from the investigation of Hedge Fund manager Bobby Axelrod, he was secretly directing that investigation. Also he unethically checked out the laptop of his wife, a corporate shrink, to see if he could find some dirt on her patients at Axelrod's hedgefund.

Ironically, Rhoades has turned out to be much more unethical than the guy he is investigating, Axelrod, who actually is mostly an upstanding guy.

It would be great to see episodes with Chuck Rhoades watching Trump's victory on election night with him later melting down over that victory. Eventually this leads to a few months later when he is fired. I would like to see a character with a thick southern drawl based on AG Jeff Sessions firing Rhoades while also admoshing him for his unethical conduct. Perhaps Rhoades could even be indicted. If I were writing it, Chuck Rhoades would be found guilty and imprisoned. Then Axelroad visits him in prison and brings him some deli food treats to munch on.

Am I drinking too much coffee or does a "Billions" storyline of Chuck Rhoades getting fired by Donald Trump via his AG with a thick southern drawl make sense?

Dunno. I couldn’t care less about what happens on this TV show. But, I guess that explains why the libtards are whining so much.

Don’t watch the show, but maybe he’ll be run over by a Mack truck after leaving his office to deposit the bribe he just got from Hillary and Bill.

You shouldn't be referencing FICTIONAL presentations infested with mostly Progressive Leftist Pinko Hollywood and Entertainment types who can make up fradulent scenarios histories and motivations, to establish a saintly character for a real Federal Prosecutor whom prosecuted a First Amendment protected documentary film maker for political payback.

Them Hollywood types just might have seen you coming.

EVERYONE on SHOWTIME is a liberal imbecile. I know firthand here in Hollywood. Head of Entertainment and the president are a buncha faggots. Literally. Pitched 3 shows and were rejected once it had undertones of doing the right thing.

I believe ya, ya don't have to shout.

And while I'm fine with good entertainment, I won't let fiction based analysis creep into serious discussions (wiseacre comments withstanding), it blurs the line between right and wrong. Well done factual documentaries are OK, properly used images promote high retention of the information.

And yes, the Hollywood Fags are missing out on a lot of quality conservative talent.

I wanted to watch that show, I really did. But as soon as the show opened with some S&M crap and the dominatrix pissed on Giamatti’s character, I shut it off.

As stated, ALL Showtimes shows are overseen by one of the most retarded libs in Hollywood. It’s a miracle I didn’t deck him once in 3 meetings.

I think it’s well past time the right picked up and created its own version of Hollywood. We’re never going to get our stories told by these deranged degenerates.

I will prob get flamed for this but Billions is actually a pretty darn good show. I find myself rooting for Axe against the US attorney Rhoades because Rhoades is NOT obsessed with doing good, though that’s what he says he is doing, but he is obsessed with - “Rhoades” - and will do anything to further his self interest. Axe is motivated by making money - and winning - yes, self interest - but he doesn’t delude himself like Rhoades - of the two I find Axe to be the more palatable.

The women “behind” the two are fascinating - strong, powerful and they know who the hell they are. And they maybe are the most moral characters in the show. They are immensely loyal.

This is a good show even if you don’t like who produced it.

I guess, flame away.

I will say that if Bharara is ANYthing like Rhoades then it’s a good thing he was fired.

Bobby Axelrod is a good guy? You must be watching a different show than I am. Axelrod is guilty of everything Rhodes thinks he is. Axelrod’s only saving grace is that Rhodes is a bigger douchebag than he is.

Agreed. It’s a show about assholes. More importantly, it’s a show about who is the bigger asshole.

Correct. Plus Axe has a healthy relationship with his wife. Meanwhile Chuck Rhoades has his wife dress up like a dominatrix and enjoys getting beaten up by her. Oh, and Rhoades very UNETHICALLY looked into his wife's laptop to find private patient info in order to help his investigation.

I have a feeling that the writer's of "Billions" planned the show a certain way but now have to change direction with the election of Trump that they never expected. Therefore a scene where Rhoades is personally fired by an AG with a thick southern drawl.

Agreed. There’s no reason the country’s major entertainment center *has* to be bunched up in CA. Conservatives should build their own far away in a non-moonbat area.

I just saw latest episode of “Billions.” I have a feeling that the end of the series will be completely changed due to the election results. Whereas before the writers would have had Chuck Rhoades as the ultimate winner, I know think Bobby Axelrod will be the final victor. Perhaps just as Chuck Rhoades is about to arrest Axelrod, he gets word that President Trump via the AG has FIRED him in the series.
