I also like "American Pie" and never get tired of listening to it.
As for my favorite song of all time, it changes periodically, but right now, it's Auch Du Wirst Mich Einmal Betrügen (You, too will betray me some day) by Ilya Livshakoff & His Orchestra, from 1930.

Righteous Brothers, ‘Unchained Melody’
Three Dog Night, ‘Pieces of April’
The Lettermen, ‘A Time For Us’
To name a few of many

I sang “Riders of the Storm” just last Tuesday night. I played the bass part. On the Bass, and sang it. At the same time.

The Carpenters - loved Karen’s voice. Dire Straights. Stevie Ray Vaughn. Bee Gees. Creedence. Jethro Tull - Locomotive Breath! Thanks for throwing out this invite, fatima! Fun stuff.

Yes mine changes around too. At times I think it is “Silence Is Golden” by the Tremeloes.
Although I do not care for him personally, “Kodachrome” by Paul Simon has to be the swingingest song ever, well maybe with the exception of “Double Shot” by The Swinging Medallions”.

I like the live at Capitol Theatre concerts. She does have a set of pipes on her.

My first shot was Jim Morrison but I already know that no one is going to mention Chris Youldon, the vocalist on the first four Savoy Brown albums, and what a voice he had!

It’s taking forever to load...I wonder why, as You Tube is usually fine on my computer.
Still waiting.
