I had a Bic Mac about a month ago and I thought I might actually be eating cardboard.
They need to go back to frying their fries in beef tallow and advertise it like it’s the good thing it is.

Stop charging $4.99 for a Big Mac for a start.

I only buy them on Big Mac Monday for $2.19 or if I get a BOGO on their App.

For 4.99 I can get a Double-Double and Fries at In & Out Burger.

I have not been impressed with McDonald's cleanliness and as you pointed out their minority employees often ignore customers. I walked out of one place. In-N-Out Burger is better tasting with clean locations and have good workers. I have come to like Burger King, especially their fries.

Better tasting food would be a good start. I’ve been in a few focus groups and other Q&A.. It all boils down to their food costing more, smaller portions and doesn’t taste as good as it used to. People like dollar menus.

The burgers are better since they’ve switched to non-frozen. They’re more like what I’ve had in Russia or Ukraine, where they are MUCH better. We’ve got one a mile away, and never go there unless enticed with freebies and BOGOs, but mostly go only when traveling, lest you think we’re “regulars”.

Try the Burger King nuggets. $1.49 for 10 and now I see why. Ugh. Of course, I always get 20, but that’s another story ...

The problem with the dollar menu is that the franchise has to run a per-ticket average to break even (I am guessing currently it would be about six bucks and change).

Dollar Menus drive you below that average ticket and your store goes into the red.

uh...reintroduce the original fries in ANIMAL FAT!

and screw the health nuts who contend that’s a bad thing.

We don’t eat there 7 days a week, ya know!

I agree with you regarding their coffee-IF FRESH! If they serve you the dregs it is foul. Ask for fresh coffee and then it is really good.

Yeah, but it kinda creeps me out how polite they are.
Like in a horror movie (Stepford Wives, etc.).

I ate there today and they must’ve said “Thank you” every sentence, and I replied, “Thank YOU” and it just kept cycling from there.

I like a certain amount of distance and apathy from my fast food workers.

Agreed if they went back to formula 47, you would see their sales skyrocket...

Just like when they went back to using real butter for their egg mcmuffins.... didn’t tell anyone they did it, yet saw a big increase in sales...

Formula 47 was one of the pillars that built McD’s... abandoning it for the vegetable oil poison to satisfy the health nuts who never eat there was huge mistake, and even when they backed off, they still haven’t gone back to Formula 47 which makes no sense...

Removing the chip that’s on the shoulder of 99% of their minority employees would be a great start.

You mean the ones who are demanding $15/hr?

“their minority employees often ignore customers”

Certain “types” of customers more than others (if you know what I mean) has been my experience.

Have two menus; one for poor people who want cheap junk, like $3 fake milkshakes, and one for rich people who want real $5 milkshakes. We live in a stratified society, like it or not. They should also consider having a dining room exclusively for the rich — charge $5 per table. I’ll pay to avoid the underclasses.

If it disappears no one will miss the chain.

Ad companies will. Hungry people won't.
