Hours before President Donald Trump will address the nation in a joint address to Congress, abortion activist Rosie O’Donnell is set to lead a protest against him outside the White House.
The pro-abortion talk show host and the president have a long-standing feud that dates back to before he was elected. The two have been known to fight on the social media network Twitter.
O’Donnell will lead a rally today called the Resistance Address — and part of the rally’s agenda is to promote abortion among other political issues. That stands in stark contrast to the theme of Tuesday’s Congressional address, which is the “renewal of the American Spirit.”

The effort is aimed at “sending a clear message outside of Trump’s front door that his agenda does not represent the values of the American people,” a news release says.
Organizations participating in the rally in Washington’s Lafayette Park include the American Civil Liberties Union, MoveOn.org, Food & Water Watch, National Nurses United and Our Revolution, among others.
O’Donnell and Trump have been engaged in a longtime, ongoing war of words.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer said that the theme of Trump’s Tuesday address to Congress — which isn’t technically a State of the Union — will be “renewal of the American spirit.”

In 2015, O’Donnell said “women’s rights“ are under attack in America and that politicians are undoing all the advances abortion activists have made.
O’Donnell told Jenny Hutt on SiriusXM’s radio program that she believes there is a war on women. She said, “Bigger than any specific people, there is a war on women that is happening in this country. Women fought for equality in this country, and right now, politically, it’s being taken away from us.”
Then, unbelievably, O’Donnell said she would like to do this to pro-lifers: “I’d like to take my period blood I no longer have and write, ‘you’re all assh—s.’ I’d like to smear it all over some people’s faces.”
Additionally, during the interview with Hutt, she said that London Marathoner Kiran Ganhi’s decision to run without a tampon while menstruating is a critical demonstration for women’s rights.
As LifeNews previously reported, O’Donnell canceled her plans to adopt another child after finding out that he faced health problems.

If anyone could possibly convince me to not be pro-life, it would be Rosie. A few minutes of being around her would cause me to desire that Rosie’s mother would have chosen abortion.
But then again, I must pray for Rosie as to do otherwise would lower me to her level.

Insults, insults there always has to be someone who has to insult to make a point. Calling Rosie a pig in a poke is a harsh and cruel insult to Pigs, what did they ever do to you. They help feed the world and barely make a squeal in protest.
It flopped.
I tuned in this morning with great anticipation, hoping to see glowing reports of this mighty effort!
Alas, everybody seems to be talking about a speech by some guy named ‘Trump.’ Whatta a funny name...
