A member of my family has Oscars on... That's why I am watching some parts of the show...If I had my way, I would watch something else...

So a filthy Iranian surrogate calls America inhumane because of a ridiculous movie award? How laughable, from a country that is a sponsor of terror? To top it off, the scum Hollywood Americans in the audience went wild with applause.

He’s a guy who once had a lot of class and meant something. Now, he has no class or anything else of value to offer. He’s turned into a phony.
Once I saw online that an Iranian movie was nominated I knew it would win..give an award to a country that wants to wipe Israel off the planet and applaud that country..and the left accuses Trump of being Anti Semitic
So, are we going with #OscarsSoBlack as this year’s hashtag? I don’t think a white has won anything where a black was nominated.

Congrats to Viola Davis (who, curiously, had all the time she wanted for her acceptance speech) for the most tone deaf comment of the night - “this (Hollywood) is the only thing that celebrates life as it is lived”. Right. The rest of us are just busy actually living it.
yep... the animation was incredible.. and, the story was cute. Hard to beat Pixar.

I had planned to watch something else but my husband announced he wanted to watch it so I gave in. Jimmy Kimmel has been pretty funny. Haven’t seen a single one of the movies and after what I have heard tonight I don’t think I will.

Not watching either, but my sister texted me telling me what anybody could’ve predicted. After the whinefestast year, they were just going to give any and every black person an Oscar so they don’t have to deal with some BLM riot or embarrassing hashtag.
